Flying Assumptions
How many times could one be late? Jimin thought to himself worriedly as he rushed down to the school Grounds. His Flying class was bound to start any second now, or maybe he had read the English handwriting wrong and was actually meant to go to Potions or something, which is actually quite likely, knowing Jimin, because English is not his first language.
The gawky boy continued walking as he opened up his bag to check for sure he had Flying. Sure enough, Flying was clear on his paper. "Flying? Sure, I definitely believe I will go floating up into the air on a piece of unattractive wood," Jimin mumbled under his breath in Korean, amused.
Even after hours of convincing and proof in Diagon Alley, Jimin was certain this was all a silly scheme to fool all eleven year olds into just enjoying school. But who should like school? That doesn't matter, just know that Jimin really hates school and doesn't think anyone else should like it. He also doesn't like cars, so brooms are a nice alternative, but that's a story for another day.
Jimin was so caught up in mocking the magical world of Witches and Wizards in his native language that he didn't see where exactly he was walking to. So, Jimin was walking fine until he walked into something his height, and fell to the floor. Again?! If you couldn't tell, Jimin had already bumped into someone, and it was only quite recent. Slowly, Jimin managed to push himself up and gather his things. And he took a good look at who he had ran into.

Keep your head up, just keep on dreaming

Flying Assumptions

Hugh groaned as he fell back and hit a statue with his back, which also kept him on his feet. He took a few seconds to recover, then noticed the boy on the floor gathering his things. Hugh dived right down and helped picking up a few sheets of paper. As they stood up, he presented the boy's papers as a sign of his attempt to help him out.
"Hello" The scottish lad had already grown more accustomed to his new home at Hogwarts. Running into strangers seemed to happen on a daily basis here. "I'm Hugh. Sorry about that earlier. I usually try to stand somewhere out of everyone's way, but that didn't seem to include you." The tall boy gave Jimin a friendly smile. "I hope you're alright?" Dark, green eyes were trying to find a hidden clue on what the boy's condition was. He noticed the boy's green tie. Slytherin! He hadn't met one of them yet. He believed he had heard Gryffs usually didn't go well with them. But Hugh always elected to give folks a chance first.
It occured to him that the boy was probably hurrying somewhere. Or maybe he was lost? Whatever the case, Hugh had a growing urge to see if he could help the stranger out. "Anything I might help you with? I'm not that caught up with floorplans yet, but I know some places."
