You can save up your money and buy them in the shops (any forum with a shopping basket icon after it has a shop, just click on the icon)
or, alternatively, get the spells for free by doing homework. This homework is unlocked at 10 days of being registered onsite (reg. June 19 2025, you unlock it on June 29th 2025) and 20 posts. Game Room posts do NOT count towards the 20 posts.

how do you do spells

Once you have 20 posts on site and 10-11 days on site (for you this will be around June 29-30) the homework system will be unlocked. Good ways to get more posts is to chat in out of character chats and roleplay posts.
Once you unlock your report card, you can begin filling out Homeworkβs for each class, which will earn you spells for any grade above a T. Depending on what class you do, these homeworks can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.
These spells will then be in your inventory, which means your character knows how to cast them.
Alternatively, you are able to purchase spells by going to the fifth floor > first year study corner and using on site currency to purchase the spells you want to (as long as you meet the prerequisite stated on the spell). You can earn money in your common room and from ooc shops.
