Magical Clues is an investigation game set in the wizarding world where players work together to solve mysteries through 'questioning' fictional suspects and discussing their theories with fellow users - it's meant to be a collaborative activity filled with fun and mysterious lore where we can all expand upon our knowledge of the wizarding world :o what's more, it will incorporate challenges/plots and fun prizes!

- As always, please be kind, respectful, and considerate of other users. I cannot stress this enough! Especially in this sort of environment where any sort of thing could potentially be brought up for game purposes, anything that goes against site rules/rating will not be allowed. We may ask you to leave the game if you are being disrespectful to people and/or making other users uncomfortable in any sort of way.

- Yes, the point is to work together, but please keep /all/ (and I mean all!) discussions and communications about the game itself within this thread, so that it is fair for all users. The only exception to this is a rule break which may be discussed via owl And just to be clear, when I say discussions/communications, answers or major clues should not be discussed anywhere else - you can talk about how much you're having fun with the game, or maybe suggest that a friend join in if they're bored! It's most definitely not a secret xD

So happy that you're still here ee! Your task is to read over the case, then try to guess the suspect with other users. You may do this by asking further questions about the case (which will be answered as vaguely as possible shshsh) or "interacting" with characters via some dialogue, where I can write mini rp type posts to answer inquiries the first person (or group of people) to owl me the correct answer will win the game and a prize (which i'll figure out later when i'm hopefully not broke asiwyofqr.. might be chocolate froggies or uh.. art? maybe?)! Depending on how active it is, we can perhaps continue, having the person (or people) who guessed correctly devising the new case and creating new characters

Case #1 - Nothing Gold Can Stay
"Despite it being known for high security, doesn't it feel like every month that Britain's one and only wizarding bank /Gringotts/ is breached? Strangely enough, we don't know who was behind it this time -"

"But that doesn't matter too much. Did you hear about the disappearances? 👀"

Last night, the largest of Gringott's vaults was breached - along with the mysterious disappearance of ministry worker Lusia Ralden, mazoologist Tami Knox, and gringotts goblin Burgock The Shrewd (??) For this first case, the goal is to find out what happened to the gold... and where these people (and goblin) might have disappeared off to... o.O

Lusia Ralden | Witch Reducio She/Her Occupation: Ministry Worker - Department of Mysteries Blood Status: Half-Blood Age: 34 Family: Thomas Ralden (Father), Mayleen Ralden (Mother), Brianne Laurel (Partner), Kivi Laurel-Ralden (Adopted Son) Additional (useless? maybe? hmm..) Information + (Motives? o.O) - there are rumours going around that department of mysteries doesn't pay workers as much anymore, and her family didn't have a lot of money - would that be a reason for her to steal, though? And why would she disappear right after? - Lusia is a graduate of Hogwarts, proud hufflepuff - She went missing (didn't show up to work, family claims they have no idea where she is) the exact night the vault was breached.. is it connected? Burgock The Shrewd | Goblin Reducio He/Any Occupation: Gringotts Goblin Age: Nobody /nose/ Family: Additional (useless? maybe? hmm..) Information + (Motives? o.O) - His fellow goblins, when asked about him, reported that he was the most serious, hardworking goblin you could ever meet. It's not likely he'd just disappear on the job. He often stayed past his shift to guard the vaults..almost like he was waiting for something.. - Nobody knows his exact age, but he's one of the oldest goblins there - for many of them, he's been there as long as they can remember - apparently very scary looking - disappeared the day before the vault was breached...

Tami Knox | Mage Reducio They/Any Occupation: Magizoologist Blood Status: Pure-Blood Age: 34 Family: Daleiah Knox (Sister), Seth Knox (Brother), Yelona Knox (Stepmother) Additional (useless? maybe? hmm..) Information + (Motives? o.O) - Tami is a graduate of Hogwarts, lovely gryff - They're absolutely /obsessed/ with animals and will drop everything and anything to help them, no matter how crazy it might be. - They're fairly skilled but sort of slacked off on practicing spells as of late... - They went missing (didn't show up, family claims they have no idea where they are) the night the vault was breached.. but then they do travel a lot, so it isn't unheard of.. right? Kayden Zidev | Wizard Reducio He/Him Occupation: Reporter - The Daily Prophet Blood Status: Muggleborn Age: 27 Family: Celine Zidev (Wife) Additional (useless? maybe? hmm..) Information + (Motives? o.O) - once the vault was discovered to be breached, Kayden was caught outside the vault alone, muttering to himself. When asked, he startled and claimed he had no idea why he was there - currently under questioning by officials. - His wife claimed differently, saying that he had only been there on the way to clear their vault, he must have been in the wrong place. Problem with her story is, this was one of the deepest Gringotts vaults... there's no reason he should've been there. - cheerful daily prophet reporter, active in the community, people say he's a nice guy.. idk.. - wonder why he was in the vaults though o.O
