So Amelia sprang up from her bed, ran to her closet and picked out a cute light pink shirt with some light blue jeans, as well as her black cloak and sprinted out of the dormitory.
She (carefully!) ran down the stairs, watching out for anything on the stairs ( no way am I getting hurt on these stairs! ) and skipped outside.
Wowww.. it's so nice outside she thought. Almost no clouds at all and a nice light breeze..
She walked over to her favorite tree and lay down in the shade. Then Amelia stared up at the light blue sky with the tiny puffy clouds (even though there were barely any). But then she realized she wasn't the only one on the Hogwarts grounds.
Amelia looked up to see a girl with black hair and a.. RAVENCLAW ROBE?
I feel so bad.. we're in the same house and I don't even know her..? Well then I'll just introduce myself!
It's nice to meet you! Amelia said cheerfully. My name is Amelia, what's yours?

Friends and Mischief
Charlotte Evergreen was taking a walk to clear her mind. It was a very nice day, warm and hardly any clouds in the sky. Her very first year of Hogwarts was great! She had gotten good grades, and had learned a lot. But, now nearly at the end of the year, and she had no friends. She'd spent most of her free time studying or reading at the library. She felt lonely, and she sighed. Charlotte decided to got sit at her favorite tree and just sulk there. But wait!
To her surprise, there was someone there! A girl with wavy brown hair was laying under it, probably looking at the sky. Wait. . .wasn't she in Ravenclaw? Charlotte didn't remember. Whatever. I'll just go somewhere else. Just when she was about to turn around and leave, (maybe find another tree) the girl looked at her and said cheerfully, "It's nice to meet you! My name is Amelia what's yours?"
Surprised, Charlotte stammered, "Oh- um hi , I- I'm Charlotte" she said nervously. Great, why couldn't I just act natural? The girl seemed nice enough. Charlotte didn't know what to say next. Hmm. . .what should we do? But soon an idea was forming in her mind.
Perhaps they could explore the Hogwarts grounds! Charlotte had never properly explored it since, well she was busy, and also since she didn't want to explore it by herself. Maybe they could see something interesting.
"Hey do you want to explore the Hogwarts grounds?"
