First steps into Hogwarts

When Ally and her parents stepped out of the Floo into the Peron 9 & ¾ she was already vibrating with excitement. It was September 1st and she was finally going to Hogwarts!
In her excitement Ally had dragged her parents to Kings Cross almost 45 minutes before the departure. She wanted to have some time to walk around and meet everyone. And of course to say goodbye to her parents.
“Hop in and find a compartment and put your stuff in there. We’ll wait here.” Her mother urged.
“Alright! I’ll be right back!” Ally answered with excitement. She wanted to explore the train anyways and this was the perfect excuse.
She hugged both of her parents and went in quickly finding an empty compartment. She left her trunk on the shelf and went out to the corridor to open a window. She called her parents over and then proceeded to talk to them for the remaining time.
When 11 came and the train started moving, she waved her hand out the window until she couldn’t see her parents anymore and then went back to her compartment. It was still empty.. She did think about going out to meet other first years but decided against it and took out her book instead.
