Avery still couldn't believe she had gotten her letter to Hogwarts. That opened a whole new world to her where she could finally be herself and finally show people who she really was. Her father had taken her to almost every shop by now, and he was going to take her to the Magical Menagerie just so she could scope which pet she wanted once she had saved up enough money to buy one. She was amazed at how many animals there were and how many people were in the shop. It was busy and Avery was excited. She walked straight away over to some cats and smiled. She knew at that moment what pet she would get. A cat. Her parents' cat was the only cat she had ever known. The cat was nice and all, but she rarely played with Avery. She had always taken a liking to her father, so she wanted to eventually get a pet of her own to enjoy and bond with. That's when she felt someone else walk up. She was around Avery's age if not a few months younger by the look of her. "Do you like cats too?" Aveyr asked the gir.
