May 9, 2025: Afternoon

With clouds covering part of the sky and a soft breeze blowing across the grounds, it was a rather nice day at Castelobruxo. Birds could be heard singing throughout the grounds and the rumbling of the waterfall could be heard in the distance, in general it was a beautiful day to spend outside.

In a last minute decision to enjoy the end of the day, Esme grabbed every blanket she could find in her office and headed out to the Llama and Alpaca fields. It was a rather quick set up, just tossing the blankets onto the ground in various areas across the field as if it were a scattered picnic. The woman did not care if it was perfect, she just wanted to enjoy the day and invite students to enjoy it as well. It was after classes were over so any student free of duties or practices for the day could join her. A variety of fruits and vegetables were packed into baskets near the blankets, mostly for the students to snack on but she would not say anything if someone snuck treats to the fuzzy creatures present in the field.

With a sigh, Esme sat herself down on one of the many blankets and picked up the book she had tossed into one of the baskets. She was going to enjoy herself in the sun whether anyone joined her or not. A soft smile was present on the woman's face as Valentino curled up beside her, the Llamas and Alpacas coming to investigate every once in a while.

If someone asked Jason about his favorite season, he would give Autumn as the answer. And if there was anything that could perfect the season, it would definitely be the beautiful afternoon sky. All of that was at Castelobruxo today, putting the second-year in such a good mood to go out, walk around and get some fresh air. After all his classes were over, Jason changed into a white sweater with green horizontal stripes and khaki shorts. Black slide sandals accompanied his steps out of the lodging house.

Jason decided to walk down to the Llama and Alpaca fields and when he arrived, his eyes found blankets tossed on the ground. "An event? Did I miss any information about this?" The boy shrugged and came closer to the similar-to-picnic area, finding the Headmistress with her book. Oh, and the half-crup that looked comfortable beside her. "Good afternoon, Professor Fernandez." He greeted, only for formality purposes.

Approaching the basket filled with fruits and vegetables, Jason reached for a tomato with his right hand and took a bite. Just about to leave, his eyes caught an alpaca only a few distance from him. Without hesitation, he grabbed a carrot with his left hand and slipped it into his pocket. He spent a few minutes just standing still, enjoying the gentle breeze on his face while finishing his tomato.

After that, Jason approached the alpaca while breaking the carrot with his hand. Not as neat as a knife cut, but still on perfect bite sizes for the fuzzy friend, "Here you go, little buddy." He knelt down and let the alpaca devour the carrot pieces. Several others seemed to come closer and join in eating until the carrots in his hands quickly ran out. Jason chuckled and stroked the alpacas before standing up and walking away from them.

He spread a dark-blue colored blanket not far from the basket and lay down on it. Both of his hands became a pillow under his head as he closed his eyes, "Perfect."
