Nurture your Nature (owl to join, is for errand)
Luisa looked over the group of plants that Deputy Headmistress Hjørdis Jensen and Ms Toussaint said needed to be placed around the great lake, and started to take as many as she could out to an area to start planting. after a few trips of full arms she settled down to start planting them
she'd heard about the distruction those damned mushrooms had caused, plus the fire, really nasty luck that those things had happened so close together. though clearly if students had to be recruted into helping replant so much of what used to grow around hogwarts then the destruction had been larger then she had initially assumed it to be.
it was really too bad, hogwarts was an amazing place, as was hogsmead, places wizards could just... be wizards without fear of muggle nonsense comeing into play. she didint fully understand why magic had to be kept secret from muggles, her father had gone over why it used to be needed to be kept secret but she supposed there had to be wizards out there testing the waters occasionally to see if or when magic could be reintroduced, untill then all she really had was here and hogsmead as places she could safely be a witch.
she started digging out a few holes around the place she'd chosen. trying to double check that they were spaced far enough apart that they could grow correctly. Ms Toussant had said that if they were planted too close together they could strangle each other by mistake, so they had to be spaced out, but if the spacing was off she wouldent be able to put anything in between without it encrouching on something else and there would just be an awkward empty area.
the work was nice. hardly anyone out here really. made for a nice planning time. just to think for herself. Hogwarats really was a lot like the classroom her father had taught her and her siblings in. just on a larger scale, with lots of diffrent teachers and subjects thoughout it. it was huge.
she worked on for the next hour or so before her older brother, Markus finally got his lazy ass out of bed and down to where she was working. she had asked him to give her a hand with the garden, she supposed she should have told him to come down an hour before she meant to start, would have gotten him down on time at least. oh well. it took the rest of the day even with the two of them to get though all the plants she was hoping to, even with the extra magic that her brother knew. it was exausting work, she wasnt sure if it was something she wanted to do again, but she supposed this time around it was actually quite rewarding at least this time, and... well giving it a second chance might be a good idea... later, much much later
