Hikari has slowly made her way to the highest part of Hogwarts , the astronomy tower . Where you could see this stars and the moon so close up , so lovely and so pretty who wouldn't want to look at the stars? Though who would wanna work with someone on a project ? Not Hikari she'd rather do it herself , but professor insisted she had a partner so here she was at the astronomy tower , waiting on her partner , it was a guy rafal , they made the plan to meet up ealier that day. Classes were over had ended a while ago so she changed out of robes than made her way up here , She looked around , Hikari came here often , usually before curfew or sneak out sometimes to see the stars through the telescopes .
She made her way through the door and over to the bookshelves , faintly running her fingers along the backs of them , scaning for a certain book , the project was on the planets in our solar system , so a book about it would be perfect and acceptable for this subject. Her eyes shot over to the small display of planets and quickly looked at them , they fascinated her , growing up in a sheltered home as a dhampir sucked she was so uneducated on a lot of things , so coming her was obviously amazing she learned about the muggles , types of potions and charms , magical creatures? She knew tone of that her sister took care of them back in Japan. She quickly went back to the books and found the one she needed and than headed over to a desk sat by a window in the class room and opened the book , skimming over and across each page quickly but efficiently , it looked like she wasn't reading it properly but she was just a very quickly reader at that. When it came to books she could get those done quickly , she put her hair up in a ponytail it was quite cold up here , silly here worse a skirt instead of something warmer , she should've remembered that , she let out a quiet sigh.

Astronomy had to have one of Rafal's favourite classrooms in all of Hogwarts! With its open-aired design, dark drapes, glittering tapestries and wonderfully soft cushion-seats, it was exactly the first year's type of place. Not to mention the many bookshelves and various knick-knacks stashed amongst the volumes - most of which were most curious.
If he absolutely had to, the only part Rafal would change was the long climb up. He wasn’t horribly out of shape by any means, but anyone would need an incredible amount of dedication and stamina to persevere up those long-winding staircases. Dedication Rafal almost didn’t have.
At long last making his way to the top of, he let his satchel fall to the floor and had to pause to rest for a moment, hunched with hands on his knees and breathing heavily. For god's sake, this was a magic school! You would’ve thought all these magically skilled folk would have figured out a more efficient method by now.
Maybe in this case though, he had nobody to blame save himself. A class project had been set, and he had his partner had arranged to meet up here to work together. At the time, it had seemed like a good idea - working on Astronomy in the Astronomy classroom? What fun! - but Rafal was starting to thinking differently. What, pray tell, was wrong with the good ol' library? It had never let him down yet.
Rafal was pretty much back to normal at this point. Straightening up, he took in the familiar scene. The Slytherin couldn’t help but smile a little, feeling his spirits lift ever so slightly. This place really was beautiful!
However, he couldn’t forget what he was here for. Looking over toward the tables, it seemed like his project partner had already arrived. She was a blonde Hufflepuff girl named Hikari whom Rafal had never took much notice to, other than perhaps a brief impression of her being rather quiet.
Well, that didn’t mean they couldn’t have a nice time discussing planets together. He started heading over toward Hikari, raising a hand in greeting. "Hey! Ready to grind on the project?" he said cheerfully.

Hikari did look up right away as Rafael spoke to her.
She had heard him coming up before he even spoke , his footsteps were heavy against the floor as he walked, she had heard him coming up the stairs at that , she quietly reached in her bag for her notebook and took out a pen also , she stuck it on the desk and began writing something , she let out a small sigh as she did
--' I found a book , it covers all eight plants .. you can pick which one we start with. "--
she had wrote down than pushed the notebook over to Rafael for him to read. she fidgeted with the hem of her skirt as she finally looked up that slytherin , no smile or anything she just looked a tad nervous , of course she was ? she was a introverted 11 year old that rarely spoke , especially to people she didnt know well , she quickly wrote something else on the book with a tad frown
--" Sorry , for not talking , I don't speak much. "--,
she hesitated a bit before moving back to stand up straighter so he could read it , she would sign but she didn't know if Rafael knew sign language so for now writing was a lot easier

Rafal gave Hikari an odd look as she wrote on a notebook and passed it to him. He frowned at the words on the page - she had found a book and wanted him to pick which one to start with. He looked back at the girl, feeling rather baffled. She was facing him as well, a rather nervous expression on her face. Did Hikari not speak or something? She definitely wasn’t deaf, or the Hufflepuff wouldn’t have heard him come up.
Luckily, an explanation came before Rafal could get too confused. With a small frown, Hikari quickly wrote something else on the notebook, before moving back so he could read it. Well, Rafal was definitely very much eager for an explanation to this bizarreness. Sorry, for not talking, I don't speak much.
The Slytherin glanced over at Hikari, no less puzzled. Well, that rather raised more questions than it answered. "So uh… " Rafal started cautiously. "By 'don't speak much', what does that mean exactly? Like, can you not do the… physical act of speaking too much or something will happen, or is it more of a… " he gestured vaguely with a hand. "You just don’t like to talk sort of thing?"
"Of course, no judgement whatsoever!" He added quickly. "I’m just not sure I fully understand your… situation, as it is."
