Potato peelings are a way for first years to pay for things in shops such as banners because we can't send real galleons, sickles, or knuts. You can find these potato peelings at the Apothecary Shop (linked). Each potato peeling stands for one knut, so that's why some prices look higher when they are the same. An example of this being that a galleon is 493 knuts (so you would buy 493 potato peelings). Hope this helps! Feel free to owl me with any other questions!

Correct. First years are the only one's who cannot send money. Second years and up have the ability to access purse donations (sending money)

Yes. A school year on Hio lasts from September 1st until June 30th. July 1st marks graduation to the next year or adult for 7th years. However even if you join the site later on in the year you can still graduate to the next year as long as you are registered in the index by July 1st.

Also another question (Sorry) how do you do classes? Are they required? How do you do a rp? What IS a rp? Why under my picture does it say I have more money than I have? How do you do things like clubs? Are there real teachers? Is there homework? Do you have to do the homework? What will happen if you don't? Are there essays? Where do you find your homework?
