Feather
Finishing up her shopping at Diagon alley, Elma Beasley saw Magical Menagerie. She stepped inside curios of what was inside.
Elma was looking at the types of owls and the types of cats and the types of toads. Something caught her eye. She took a few steps until Elma was in front of a tawny owl.
Far in the counter the cashier spot Elma. She had no one standing in a line so she heads over to Elma. Elma didn't notice her until the cashier said, " Hello, may I help you with anything? This made Elma jump, because she didn't know that the cashier was behind her. Elma kept looking from the cashier to the Tawny owl. And then she finally said, " Yes. I would like this Tawny owl."
The cashier looked very happy at Elma's request. " Are you sure. I have had many customers unhappy at the counter with the owl." Sighed the cashier. Elma replied " Yeah, I really want an owl, and I want this one." The cashier said she wanted to talk to the manager, so she made Elma wait outside. While Elma was waiting many people started leaving. Soon a women came and said, "come back tomorrow."
This disappointed Elma. She had put her happiness bar at the top. The next day Elma came back, her hopes high. When she entered the store, she saw a different cashier. This upset Elma. Elma left the store. She came back the next day, to find another cashier there. Elma went back to see the Tawny owl. The owl saw her and kind of did a smile at Elma. Then the owl lifted its feathers and started jumping in the cage. Then the cashier came up to tell the owl to stop.
Elma left so that she didn't get in trouble. Then a familiar voice shot out from behind Elma. "Hello Elma. Got your Tawny owl yet?" Elma turned to see the actual cashier. " Sorry, we didn't have enough owls for you. But I noticed you fell in love with the one on display. So did you get that one yet?" Asked the cashier. " No, they keep telling me to come back tomorrow." Replied Elma. This got the cashier frowning. She said, " come see me tomorrow. I will be in the manager's office." When the cashier said this Elma's hopes went high.
The next day when Elma came to see the cashier, she was in the manager's office like she said, and she was standing with a happy looking manager. Then Elma and the cashier proceeded to the counter where Elma paid for her Tawny owl, and they left home.
