Off to be a wizard Closed

Noah turned and faced his Mum and Dad, he started to feel sick to his stomach. He hadn’t ever left their sides for more than a week at a time. This would be for an entire school year. He was excited for this new adventure and life, but at the same time he was leaving who he was behind. Just a few months ago he was normal. Granted his normal did end up having exploding locks and other weird oddities that have now been explained away as magic that he was causing. He still could not believe it. He gave them each a big and prolonged hug. They told him they would see him at Christmas if he wanted to come home for the Holiday. He smiled and turned towards the large red Hogwarts Express.

It still did not feel real. He took his first step up on the train, then the next and soon he found himself squeezing past others down the aisle. Other kids were waving away at friends and family. So many had already found cabins. Noah made his way to what he thought had to be one of the last empty ones. He waved once more to his family. Then slumped down into his seat. His heart was racing at the thought of what his life would be like after tonight. His palms were clammy and he wiped them on his jeans. Looking across at the other cabin some older boys, maybe 15 Noah thought to himself were picking up as if they never left each other's side. Noah hoped he would one day have friendships like that.
