The Beginning & The Train
11 years, that's when you're supposed to go on to middle school--- not to boarding school. Alina stands stiffly, staring at the train ticket held in her fingers, the toes of her shoes equally straddle the space between platform 9 and 10. But in all the commotion... she should have looked closer at the ticket. Where is platform 9-3/4? That has to be some sort of mistake. That's the type of gimmick you'd see in a movie... not in real life?
"Maybe we should ask someone." Her brother Markus asks, peering over their mother's shoulders. The intentions are sincere, but how do you go about asking the train platform staff about a platform that clearly doesn't exist?
"And be seen as the fools?" Their mother says. "May I see the ticket again, Hon?" Her mother gently eases the ticket from her hands, reading it, before glancing around again.
"We should step out of the way of traffic." Her father gently ushers them to stand beside the wall. No one else seems to be as confused as they were. Alina could feel the gaze of passersby as their eyes scanned over her, trying to figure out what the family was looking for, but not wanting to make it seem like they were eavesdropping or offering for assistance.
"Isn't it something about the barrier through the wall?" Alina watches as her brother pats the brick wall beside them. It's not going to work for you. She thinks. You're a muggle.
"Just... here." Alina drags her trunk against the wall, propping it up against the brick. In an instant, the trunk falls, slamming into the ground. Except that where she'd expect it to slide into her brother's feet, it seemed to fall through the wall.
Alina can't help but grin in nervous excitement. She reaches for her trunk, her hand passing through the barrier. Without being able to see the trunk, her hand closes around the solid handle, and she dives through the barrier.
Just beyond stands a glimmering red train, its smokestacks billowing as she stares in awe.

The Beginning & The Train
My new life at 11yrs old was about to unfold for the first time. The time had come, the day of learning and wondering if i could fit in was here. Hogwarts was awaiting all new faces for the first year and i couldn't wait. I was packed and ready to get on my travels. I spent my first night im a magical place that looked like a inn that my mother paid for. It had some weird people that i came across and i slepted the night in a small room in the attic of the building.
The building was old and the food was eatable, but i didn't rate the flavour because it tasted bland. During the night, even though i only got a bit of sleep the building creaked and made horrible noises. Early that next morning some guys came that didn't look out of the ordinary and was asking for me. They wore big long overcoate type cloakes and asked me to get all my things because the train to hogwarts is arriving shortly and i went on my way.
When i got to the train station i couldn't hardly see anything out of the ordinary, which made me wonder where is the train it surely hadn't gone without me has it. Thats when i came to a conclusion to waiting for it but still nothing, when a strange young 11yr old lad came running past me with his trolly and disappeared into the wall between platform 9 and 10. I was bathelled with what i just saw but then it came to me could i do the same. So i tried and missed the wall completly but saw a glimmer shining on it and tried again.
It was out of the blue mist from the wall and i saw what said hogwarts express. Thats when i knew i had arrived because there was loads of others getting in the train. It was like a steam locomotive, it had loads of carriages and several rooms to sit in. Each room could fit upto 5 or 6 people in each depending on how much space you take. There was a lady that would come around during the journey asking if you would like a every flavour bean, magical gummy worm or a chocolate frog. I only got the chocolate frog as a snack along the way.
The scenery on the way to hogwarts was sort of strange because in fairness i do love the country but soon the other side got scary and you couldn't see much until you came out of the otherside of it. I kept to my wits end on the train and eventually came to the platform not far from hogwarts where we all got off to travel in the direction and follow the people that could be the staff there i think!.
