Reflections of Serenity
| —— | •──────────• 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚 : 16th November 2024 𝓋𝑒𝓃𝓉 : Reflections of Serenity •──────────• It was a cold Saturday morning, and the weather was such that Yuki almost stayed in bed longer. But she had her routine and was hungry, so she dressed warmly before going down to the Great Hall for breakfast. After that, she headed to the library to return some books and then went out into the cold. She kept her school uniform on and put on her big green scarf to stay warm. Her cheeks were flushed from the cold and she was having fun blowing cold air. She walked leisurely towards the lake and decided to stay there for a while. She sat on the shore, ignoring the damp earth that would soak into her clothes—she would change when she got home—and looked at the smooth, mirror-like surface of the lake. There was no draft, so the water was still. It was quite a soothing sight. For the start of the year, she was still rather solitary. It didn't bother her that much; she wasn't completely alone either. She had classmates with whom she sometimes interacted in class, and her dorm roommates. There were also Andronica and Cerise, whom she had met on the Hogwarts Express, but she hadn't had the chance to speak to them again, although she had run into them several times. She didn't really care. She had seven years ahead of her to meet other people. She was going to get sick, but she didn't care. She would change when she got back to the dorms and she wouldn't go out again for the rest of the afternoon. •──────────•
