| —— | •──────────• 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚 : 24/08/2024 𝓋𝑒𝓃𝓉 : Bunny n' Sun •──────────• It was the penultimate week of the holidays, and it was with a strange feeling that Yuki was buying the necessary supplies for her first day at Hogwarts. Her brother, Brian, accompanied her, and her parents took care of the books and less important things. They already had almost everything; all that remained was the wand and a few measurements for the wizarding robes that Yuki would wear to the castle. She was following her brother, staring into space, when she saw him rush into a shop that wasn't included in the list. She frowned and, thinking that something was simply of interest to her brother, followed him, curious to know what it was. Imagine her surprise when she entered a shop filled with small creatures! Her brother was talking to the shop's owners, an old couple with sweet smiling face, and she approached to listen in silence. She looked at her brother with an incredulous expression when he announced that he wanted a pet for his little sister, pointing at her. She tugged at his sleeve without understanding, and he smiled tenderly at her before telling her that it was a gift from him and their parents. She was genuinely happy, and he told her to start looking at the animals to decide which one to choose, and she complied without hesitation. There were all kinds of animals here. She shivered past the spiders and admired the snakes from a safe distance. The owls looked at her curiously, but she wouldn't have any use for them. There were already owls available at the aviary, and her mother had one. The frogs... Yuki didn't like them very much, and the same for the rats. She stayed for a while watching the pigmy puffs, the ferrets, the fish, and then the lizards, but she still didn't like them. Yuki loved cats, but they already had a male cat named Ziggy at home, and she wanted to choose something that would be just for her. Something cute... She stopped dead in her tracks in front of the rabbits. Only one had caught her eye. It was tiny... She read the information about it; it was a mist hopper, a female. It had short, dense fur, light gray in color. It seemed rather timid, not shy, and very vulnerable. Yuki wanted to take care of her; she knew this was the rabbit she needed. — "I'll call you Daisy", she whispered to the rabbit with a smile. •──────────•
