Victoria had never known her relatives, so it was rather unusual for her cousin to show up. Maybe they would be mean to her, so she could protect herself, right? She quickly shook off that thought when she remembered that magic was forbidden outside of school.

She was thinking about these things while on the bus. She had never felt so nervous. She was very careful not to attract the attention of the Muggles. She tried not to look uncomfortable, she tried not to change the color of her hair or eyes. She was far from looking like a normal Muggle.

When the bus stopped at the appropriate street, she got out immediately. The fresh air hit her face and she felt relieved.

As she wandered down the Muggle street, she quickly walked towards the right address. In fact, she hadn't been through many Muggle streets outside of her own village.

When she arrived at the address, her heart was beating wildly. She knew her cousin's name was Iliala. She was a cousin she only knew by name. She hoped she was a good person.

She tried to hide her excitement, but it didn't work so she knocked on the door. She held her breath and waited.

When the door opened, Victoria let out the breath she had just realized she was holding. The girl in front of her had blonde-brown hair and blue eyes. Tori wondered if this was her real appearance, knowing that the girl had metamorphosis. Okay, Iliala started talking. This is normal.

"Yes, my mother mentioned it. You're going to study at Hogwarts, right? I've heard there are other schools, but of course they can't be as good as Hogwarts. But if you want to go, I don't know, then the schools might be good. Is this your real hair color?"

She spoke too quickly and without thinking. She knew that half of what she said was unnecessary. Tori gripped the handle of her bag a little tighter.

"This place is so beautiful. So peaceful. Was it hard to hide the metamorphosis aspect?"

Tori was curious about the girl's answer. She looked around, trying to speak in a whisper. There was something very calming and relaxing about this place. At that moment, she realized that she was still in front of the door.

"Can I come in? If that's okay?"

She felt strange asking this, trying to suppress her own feelings. She waited curiously for her cousin's answer.

Blink. "Um..." Blink, blink. Victoria was friendly!

"Yeah, I'm going to Hogwarts. I've heard about some of the other schools I think. Durmstrang is one right? And Beaxbatons. And the American one. Ivermormy? I want to meet someone from every school. How is Hogwarts? Is it cool? Mother said it was very pretty. She also said I'm gonna be terrible at magic... is magic hard? Will I be bad at it? Mother and Father say I'm so close to a squib I'm never gonna pass any of my classes. What happens if you don't pass. Do you have to go to muggle schooling then. Are there bullies. Are people nice. Do have friends. Do you think I'll make friends? I really hope I will. I don't want to be lonely. I don't really know how to start conversations. I'm really great at continuing them though!"

She paused for a breath and realized she hadn't answered Victoria's questions. "Yeah this is my real hair color. Is that your real hair color. Are you a good metamorphmagus? Do you have any different people you make yourself into so you can wander around. Does it affect how you learn magic. Will it make me better or worse at magic. I really hope it doesn't make me worse. I think I'll be bad enough as it is."

She took another breath and considered Victoria's next question. "Thanks. I don't particularly like it. I think my parents went overkill with the decoration... but don't tell them I said that" She quickly exclaimed. "I can hide it well. It doesn't really change naturally anymore. I learned to stop it once my parents started getting mad about it."

"Of course you can come in!"

Hopefully she hadn't just scared Victoria away with her excitement.

Tori blinked. She had talked really hard, too fast. When she came to, she smiled. The trait of really talking too much could be genetic.

"Hogwarts is a magical school. It's like being in a fairy tale. The classes are a bit difficult, but magic is complex, and I think you can be the best witch. I'm not very good at magic myself, but hey, we're going there to be the best anyway. There will always be good people and bad people, but you can overcome that, and you'll make the best friends, believe me."

She tried to answer all of Iliala's questions. "Wow, I wonder if this is how the other students feel when I talk too much?" She had once again blurted out her thoughts.

"My real hair color is too. I don't think I've had a bad metamorphosis. I can only make small changes now, but not drastic ones. I don't think this will affect your magic. I think you underestimate yourself when it comes to magic."

Tori said, laughing uncontrollably at the girl's speech. This could be our little secret."

She smiled and entered the house, trying to suppress her excitement. She already loved her cousin very much.
