She is an aspiring magizoologist and Healer in St. Mungo’s. She wants to join the Duelling Club, but is wondering if Quidditch is better. But again, she couldn’t apply since she’s a first year.

Ruby is very smart, doing well in Muggle school, and constantly getting good grades. She hopes that it will be the same in Hogwarts.

Her mother is a half-blood witch, and she was Sorted into Gryffindor. Lexille “Lexi” Diumme (née Donelds,) is a Healer in St. Mungo’s and a part time surgeon in a Muggle hospital near Liverpool.

Mrs. Diumme’s mother, Shannon Ficklewest (née Donelds) was a Muggle-born witch who was Sorted into Hufflepuff House. Mrs. Ficklewest had a lot of spats with her pure-blood husband, Clyde Ficklewest. In the end, they divorced. Mr. Ficklewest was also a lesser-known Daily Prophet writer.

Juan Diumme, Ruby’s father, a pure-blood, is an Obliviator in the Ministry of Magic. His mum (Lizzy Diumme née Thial) and dad (Eric Diumme) were partners-in-crime doing pest work in the Ministry.

Ruby is also very enthusiastic, although the flame in her can be put out through the smallest to biggest things.

Her mom and dad worked in the hospital, so she spent the time alone in her room. Ruby was allowed to take care of her mother’s cat, Kiki, a male Scottish Fold. As a surprise on her 10th birthday, Ruby was gifted a beautiful Japanese Bobtail cat that was black-haired named Jasper. Before Hogwarts, she was a cheerful girl; optimistic and trying to look at the bright side always. Her friends were 6 girls and 1 boy, whom she had a crush on when she was 10 1/2. She confessed and the boy, Alexander, was weirded out. Ruby never spoke to him again. Opal, Arianna, Jessica, Caidy, Angelica, and Maya were lovely friends although they were mildly annoyed by Ruby's short temper and occasional rudeness since she wasn't the most emotionally adroit. Her school was mostly good, and she liked her English teacher, Miss Edna Vicksen, who was bookish and friendly. Mrs. Diumme worked in a Muggle hospital since she decided it was safer for Ruby. The Muggle hospital was nearer and let Mrs. Diumme care for Ruby more often.
