Mom, dad,

I woke up this morning with the realization that I was finally at Hogwarts. It's amazing, unexpected and there's no end to the thrill of the adventures and experiences here. I remember what you told me, and you were right, it's everything I'd hoped and more. Yesterday I was sorted into Hufflepuff, I think it suits my personality and everyone is nice and friendly there! Maybe Gryffindor would've suited me better, I've always been a mix of the two, but who knows.

Speaking of houses, specifically Gryffindor, I met a girl on the train while coming to Hogwarts and we're good friends already, she's super nice! Her name is Avery, @Avery Gray, sorted into Gryffindor. It's a shame we weren't sorted into the same house, but oh well. Either way, everything is just so exciting. I already started classes today, it's all so cool and interesting! Who knew that the subjects that Hogwarts offers could be so intriguing and fun to learn about!
