Under the Same Sky

The night sky was clear tonight with perfect sight of the celestial bodies. This week they were teaming up to draw out Venus, Mars, and Saturn as they continue to form their morphing triangle, which they would be able to see tongiht. And if they were lucky, maybe a falling star! That was her personal wish though. Picking her favorite spot, she arranged her telescope and chart in front of her.
There was something special about the astronomy classes. More than them being set at nightfall, that Linnéa just loved. Maybe it was the crisp night air and silence, or maybe the slightly illicit feeling of staying up late in the astronomy tower, even if it was technically still school hours. She couldn't pinpoint it, but these lessons were one of her favorite. The subject wasn't the most interesting in terms of learning new magic, but space was infinitely interesting. How could it not be, when it went on all eternity? It was difficult to wrap her young brain around it, all the limitless possibilities. Were they alone in this universe? How could they be? There were always new theories scrambling her brain after every lesson. The girl came to class with silent enthusiasm every time, however, eager to watch the sky movement.
This night was no exception. Even if this was one of the few classes she had with the Slytherins. Linnéa had personally not had any bad experiences with students in the house of the snake, but based on rumors, they tended to cause trouble. At least some of them. You wouldn't be able to tell in this class, most of it was done in silent observations, faces glued to their telescopes and star charts.
When they were quietly urged to form groups, Linnéa glanced around her in an attempt to get eye contact with someone. The blonde spotted a guy close by in green robes- She recognized him! They'd kissed at the kissing party last month. He'd been super sweet; Thaniel, or something?
"Do you want to team up with me?" Linnéa asked him with a smile. The rest of the slytherins might terrify her, but this one wasn't so bad.
