Reducio
Zvezda's Irish grandmother. She is a pureblood, and has the same general coldness of the rest of Zvezda's family, but she does show affection in her own way.
Reducio
Zvezda's English grandfather. His respect for strength led to him arranging a marriage between his daughter and Nikolai Morozov.
Reducio
Zvezda's mother. She is surprisingly nurturing, occasionally clashing with Nikolai when he would act harshly toward their children.
Reducio
Zvezda's father. He is harsh, but fair. His expectations for his children is are very high, but he rewards hard work handsomely.
Reducio
Zvezda's eldest brother. He is the most magically gifted of the Morozov siblings, and when he graduated, he explored mercenary work. His work often skirts the lines of legality.

Ekaterina Morozova
Dimitri Morozov
Vladislav Morozov
Polina Morozova
Reducio
Zvezda's second eldest brother. He is a bookworm with a penchant for researching dark magic. His focus is scholastic and scientific, and he maintains boundaries in his research that were enforced by Durmstrang.
Reducio
Zvezda's eldest sister. She is technically a magizoologist, but she mostly focuses her studies on magical creatures that thrive in the cold. She has, at one point, tried to tame a dragon. It did not go well, but her eyebrows did grow back.
Reducio
The middle sibling. Before Zvezda, his magical awakening was the latest in the family. He did not show signs of magic until the age of nine. He is utterly unremarkable, but that is mostly the result of laziness. He has natural talent in defensive magic, but he gets bored during his studies in Durmstrang.
Reducio
The youngest Morozov boy. He has a knack for potions, but he prefers to learn useful charms to make his life easier, such as scrubbing charms and wand-lighting charms. Their father thinks Vladislav is soft.
Reducio
Zvezda's twin sister. She expressed magical abilities far younger than Zvezda, exhibiting quite a show of unintentional magic at seven years old that left Zvezda with a broken leg. It was healed easily, but the jealousy Zvezda felt at the time took a bit longer. Zvezda misses her.

Zvezda Morozova [~|~] First Year [~|~] Ravenclaw
Background
Zvezda spent the majority of her life in Russia. Her family has always had deep ties to Durmstrang, and growing up, there was an unspoken understanding that Zvezda, like her six siblings, would attend the same school. The superior school.

As she got older, Zvezda's magic stubbornly refused to reveal itself. Her oldest brother Igor showed signs of magic as early as six, but Zvezda was still growing and hadn't even shown the slightest bit of potential. Then she was seven. Then eight. When Zvezda turned ten, her dad finally assumed that she was simply incapable of magic. A Squib. A failure. After all, none of Zvezda's siblings had made it to nine without showing signs of magical capabilities, but she was now ten.

Because of the dangers that she would be incapable of protecting herself from without magic, Zvezda's parents had her sent to live with her maternal grandparents in England because it was deemed safer than the snowy forests in which they lived. Zvezda had no choice, so she went to England carrying the shameful title of Squib.
First Instance of Magic
Zvezda's first time using magic was mere days after leaving home.

It was a week after her tenth birthday, on her fourth day in England. She missed her home. Terribly. She missed the moonlight reflecting on the snowy hills below most of all. She didn't like England one bit, with its gray skies and near constant rain.

On that night, her homesickness grew especially strong and Zvezda did something she'd never done in her entire life. She wept. She sobbed and cried alone in her bedroom as the rain pattered outside on the roof of her grandparents' home.

Her sobs subsided to slight sniffles when she felt a chill in the air. Lifting her head from her hands, she saw snow drifting down from the ceiling of her bedroom, with each flake dissolving on the floor without leaving water behind. She allowed herself to sit and enjoy the cold just a bit longer than was necessary, and she ended up forgetting to even tell her grandparents about it.

After that day, Zvezda assumed the snow in her room was an enchantment made by her grandparents to make her feel at home, so she was entirely surprised when she received an acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
