I've compiled a bunch of materials for Astronomy as a subject. I have a list of contents below.

In-Character Rules

1) Do not use your wands in class unless the professor states otherwise, and ONLY the professor.
2) You may not be anywhere other than the classroom or my office without the professor's direct permission.
3) Love one another, love the equipment. Show respect, care for things properly.
4) Respect sensitive subjects. We graze over sensitive subjects occasionally, and if you make fun of whatever the sensitive subject or act inappropriately, I reserve the right to send you to the Headmaster for a serious talk.
5) New rule: Don't pull a Duvessa move. (Don't be a class clown. It only makes you lose points.)


Out of Character Rules

1) Please refrain from godmodding Farron, or any other character. If you are unsure, please send me an owl.

2) If you’d like to have a private RP outside of the desk thread, please owl me first. I want to make sure I have the availability to respond to you in a timely manner. If the desk is open you’re always free to post there without owling first.

3) If your character attempts to break into the Astronomy classroom after hours or attempts to misbehave, be aware that I will roll dice to determine your success or failure. Depending on when you attempt to break into the tower will change the dice threshold you need to hit to come out of it unnoticed. Every action comes with risks, so be aware of the possible consequences.

4) Finally, follow the other guidelines of RPing and site regulations, and enjoy yourselves.


Office Rules

- Any threads with Octavius Baird must be dated after April 22 2023 as that was his date of employment.
- ASK via owls if you'd like to have a private thread with Octavius outside of his office.
- After my most recent post in this thread, should a student who hasn't posted within a month, not post.. then it'll be presumed that the student has left the desk and the Office will be marked Open.
- Only one person posting in this thread asides from the Professor (me) at a time. It will be clearly indicated at the top of this thread whether this office is open or closed for replies.
