April didn’t have friends because she was shy, and she was nervous when she was talking to a friend that she didn't know. And her mom and dad are muggle teachers. And April only talked to her big brother and her cousins because they understood her. But they didn’t stay in the muggle world. Because they went to Hogwarts during the school year. So April always dream of attending Hogwarts. And April would go to the school library and read books and dream about the magical world till her mom came to get her.

When April was nine, she was reading books as usual in the school library when she suddenly thought about her stuck in the muggle world and think that she doesn't belong in this world, that she belongs in the magical world. So she was suddenly thinking very hard about why she cannot get to be in the magical world. April was (for a second)mad that she is not in the magical world and her brother is going to school in the magical world. Frustrated, she slammed her book when her book was on fire! April was frightened. What had just happened? April was very stunned what will her parents think of this? Will They think I'm just being funny? April had to figure out how this happened.

April was born in South Korea and then moved to a town called Bexley in Outer London when she was 6. When April was 8, her brother received a letter from a school call Hogwarts. April soon found out that her brother was a wizard and her grandparents were squibs. When her brother left for the school, April was lonely. Because she found out her cousins went to the magical school too. April did not have any friends and when her brother came for the holidays, she was fascinated about Hogwarts, but frustrated because she could not go. Then, when she became 10, she got the letter that changed her life.
