✽Avery couldn't wait! All day she had been awaiting the time that she would get to finally meet her Quill Pal. Curtis. They had been talking through letters for a short time, and it was finally the day that they would meet in person. She was very excited to meet him since he already felt like and old friend. They had been talking so much about their lives that Avery couldn't wait to talk to him face to face.
Avery walked to the library after classes ended. She still had a little bit of time before dinner, so they would hopefully get a short time to chat. Either way, she couldn't wait to meet him. She always loved meeting people and getting to know them better. It was one thing that Avery was actually good at with people. Making friends.
Avery found an empty table in the library and sat down. She was going to begin working on homework as she waited for Curtis to arrive. She didn't know when he would get here considering classes had just ended, so she was finally going to get her much needed time to work. Once she had sat down, she pulled out her Herbology homework and began to work as she waited. Listening at every footstep that sounded throughout the quiet room.

Unexpectedly Expected Encounter
Curtis was nervous, and excited. An interesting feeling that he recently discovered, and he's anticipating more!

From the letters he sent to Avery and so forth, Avery sounds like a really nice person. Though he suppose he has yet to meet a single mean person either. He adjusts his school bag anxiously as he crept into the library. He pokes a head through and darts his eyes around nervously, examining each student and make sure he wasn't at least 'uninvited' before he scurries in as quiet as he can -which is something new to him.
It is at that moment that he realised- that he isn't entirely sure what she looks like.
Usually, he wouldn't mind loudly announcing his presence, but from the many times that he's been told (from librarian or students) to use his inside voice. So instead he went up to each individual table to ask.
He went to a nearest few girls first, who seem to be suspicious but quickly and politely answer that he has the wrong person, before he eventually rounds over to the next table, this went on for quite a bit, until before long he rounds the bookshelf, and walks up to the table Avery is at.
"Hi there, are you Avery?"

✽Avery jumped when she heard her name. She wasn't scared by the sudden use of her name, but she was surprised. She looked up to see a Ravenclaw boy around her age standing next to her table. It was then that she realized this boy must be Curtis. They boy she had been sending letters to for a while.
"Yeah. I'm Avery. Are you Curtis?" Avery asked. Hoping that she had found the right person.
While she waited for him to respond, she quickly finished up the last couple of questions on her homework. Proud of herself for actually being productive and completing something. Then she carefully placed the parchment in her bag along with the rest of her books. Making sure that everything was neat and organized, so when she got back to the Common Room later, she would be able to have everything ready to complete the rest of her homework.
Then she glanced at the boy to see if it was him. Curtis had said in his letters that he was a first year Ravenclaw, and this boy seemed to fit his description of that, so Avery wouldn't be surprised at all if she had finally found her mysterious friend. This was going to be a fun time!
