ooc notes- so glad we're finally getting around to do this thread!Sage raked her hair back into a ponytail, stretching one arm behind her as she did so. The early fall air, chill as ever, sent goosebumps raising on pale skin. The pair of running shoes she kept went on her feet, laces tied tightly. The sunrise remained out in the sky as she stretched, peeking out behind any clouds in the sky.
Warm black pants kept the chill out of her bones while an athletic jumper protected her arms and torso. Gratitude overwhelmed Sage that this running day fell on a weekend so she didn’t have to worry about the Hogwarts uniform.
Down in the grounds of Hogwarts, ready for an early morning jog, Sage completed five quick short bursts of running as part of her warm up. She knew from past experience that not warming up left its mark on her as the day went on.
Her feet pounded against the grass, pat, pat, pat until she slowed to a stop. Internally, she mapped out her path for that morning, the one she normally ran on Sundays. Repetitive, some might call it, but Sage only thought of it as a pattern, a normal and healthy habit.
Once the detailed warm up had been completed, she faced her path for the day and began picking up speed as her run began. If you had told Sage who she would meet that day, she would never have believed you.
