While the first theme was underwater and the second was the beach, this theme would be based in the forest. The moment one entered a cabin with this theme, one would be able to hear the gentle pitter patter of rain falling in a forest. And if one looked out the clear window, students and adults alike would see a lush green forest filled with tall trees that formed a light canopy. Every once in a while, if people stared outside observantly they would see creatures native to the forest that was recreated. Perhaps they could see a squirrel, or colourful birds, and perhaps even a moose. A person familiar with forests may be able to identify the view as one from the North American continent. The fog would phase in and out throughout the week the students were there. The living room would be warm and cozy, with a fireplace, as well as a beautiful rug that filled up the place. There would be multiple couches as in the other themes, although they would be dark and brown and black to fit the foggy forest scene. The dining room table would be made of stained wood and fit all eight members of the cabin together, where they could play games, study, or even eat a snack they brought from Beauxbatons' dining hall. There would also be a square coffee table made of wood as well. The bedroom would feel homey and rustic, as if one was camping in a wood cabin up north. The view of the forest would still be visible and the columns and roof of the bedroom would be shaped like a tree trunk. Bunk beds would line the opposite wall so that the view of the forest would be visible from every bed, but at night time the curtains would cover the windows so that people could sleep without the disturbance of light. This cabin would have candle holders the shape of a small cottage in each of the rooms for light at night.

โฝAvery couldn't wait! It was finally the time that she would get the chance to be away from Hogwarts and explore! She was finally getting the chance to go to Beauxbatons. The famous wizarding school in France! Avery had never been to France before, so she was excited to see what her trip would bring!
The second she had heard there was an event at Beauxbatons, she didn't hesitate to grab her friends and form a group. There were a few people she didn't know yet, but she was eager to get to know them! Avery always loved meeting new people. Especially when they also wanted to meet her!
Avery walked into the cabin and felt right at home. The woods reminded her of the times she had spent with her cousin in the woods in her hometown of Swansea, Wales. She breathed in the the air. Knowing it wouldn't feel like home, but it was still nice. She glanced out the one of the windows before she went to claim a bunk. She was happy to find a beautiful forest outside. Though, it looked different. It wasn't like the forests in Wales. Avery was curious as to where forests like these were found. She made a mental note to ask someone later.
That's when she ran for the bedroom where they would be sleeping. She had always wanted to sleep in a bunk bed, so she stared at them. Decided whether she wanted the top or bottom for a solid five minutes. Finally she decided on the bottom bunk, so she could spend more time with friends instead of having to constantly climb up to her bed.
The only thing left to do was wait for her friends to arrive! She couldn't wait to see their familiar faces, and some new faces she was eager to get to know. This was going to be a great time! โฝ

Arrival
Claire was a bit nervous, traveling to Beauxbatons. Not because it was a different country, but more because it was another magical school, and the last big magical cross-school event had left many dead in a strange attack on Hogsmeade.
Thankfully, she seemed to have worried for nothing so far. She, along with the other Hogwarts students who'd elected to come to Beauxbatons for the celebration had arrived safely. She dragged her luggage into the cabin she'd signed up for, cursing herself for her own inability to shrink it with magic, and, after a struggle near the front door, finally managed to pull her luggage inside with more sweat an muttered curses than she would have liked.
She let go of her things as soon as she saw the scenery on the other side of the window. She didn't know the species of trees visible through the glass, whether they were birch or maple, or even oak, but she did know that what she saw outside didn't match what was actually outside. Oh, to be able to conjure such images. She examined the beautiful, rustic interior until her eyes settled on a fireplace. She pointed her wand toward it, traced a flame in the air, and said in a soft, but controlled voice, "Incendio!"
A jet of fire escaped her wand, lighting the logs in the fireplace. Claire smiled and grabbed her luggage, resuming the journey toward the bedroom.
She didn't even notice Avery at first, because the line of bunkbeds demanded her attention. She'd never had one before, but she'd always wanted one for when her friends stayed over. She immediately ran to one of the bunkbeds that had already been claimed (OOC: Avery's) and climbed on top.
Once on top, she reached down and tried to pull her luggage up, but it was a bit too heavy.
That was when she noticed Avery in the bedroom. Claire tossed Avery a sheepish smile and a wave.
"Little help?" she asked, still struggling to try and pull her luggage up. "Is it just the two of us here so far?"

Excitement was written across Eva's face. She had heard amazing things about Beauxbatons and was thrilled to go there. Eva was worried she would have no one to share a cabin with but that was not an issue as she joined a group of people quickly.
She had packed way too much as per usual, packing way too many outfits to fit into the trip. Four pairs of jeans, seven tops, three dresses, three pairs of shoes, four hair accessories, four jumpers and three knit cardigans. Eva had always been an overpacker and was always irritated when there was not enough time for her to try all of the outfits out.
She dragged her massive suitcase, her backpack slung over one of her shoulders to the cabin she had signed up for. Eva pulled and sighed, irritable as she had to take quite a few breaks to manage to get her items into the cabin. She dragged her suitcase over to one of the bunk beds and left it there, putting her backpack next to it. She rolled her tight shoulders and relaxed. She stood in front of the window and took in the beautiful view.
Beauxbatons was beautiful, she was so glad she had decided to come here. She then sprawled herself on the bottom bunk, resting for a few moments, before sitting up.
Eva was very excited.

โฝAvery turned around when she heard a familiar voice ask for help. She was happy to find Claire sitting on her upper bunk. Actually, it was the bed above hers. She smiled and walked over to grab the bottom of the suitcase. She gently pushed up and helped her friend get her trunk up onto the bed.
"There you go. I'm glad you're bunking here! We're going to have a great time!" Avery was very excited. Especially since one of her friends was already here!
Suddenly, Avery heard another person enter the room. It was another girl. Avery had seen her around in classes and in the Common Room, but she hadn't actually talked to the girl yet. It seemed as if the other Gryffindor hadn't seen them yet, so Avery decided to say hello.
"Hi. I'm Avery. What's your name?" Avery questioned. She hoped that she hadn't disturbed the girl since it seemed that the girl was enjoying the view out the window. Avery could tell why the girl might like it. It was a beautiful sight. Even though Avery had no idea where it was from.
Avery walked over to another window found in the room. She watched the outside in amazement. Even though it looked nothing like her home in Wales, it still was beautiful and mesmerizing to look at. She couldn't wait to see what she would find while watching the woods. โฝ

โ โPromise had to admit, joining everyone on the trip to beauxbatons was like a dream opportunity. Promise had always wanted to travel to France. The magical school was absuloutly stunning, every where she looked it was somthing nothing less then beautiful. It was shame she was only going to be there for a little while. She grabbed her bags and ventured on to find her cabin. She eventually found it, and dragged in her luggage. She looked around, it was fabulous just like the rest of the school. Promise first glanced at the living room area, which was filled with comfy couches, and also had a rug and a small coffee table. She could see massive windows around the cabin as well, she really liked the natural lighting. After all that, she finally noticed two, no three other people in the cabin.
"Oh! Umm... Hi?" She said, a little suprised since she hadn't excpected her cabin mates to come so soon, and defintaly not for them to be there already. She noticed that there were a couple bunkbeds around the others, and thought she should probably decide where she should be sleeping.
"Have you guys decided which bed your gonna sleep on?" She asked. She wanted to know before claiming a spot for herself. Promise didn't really have a preference for top or bottom bunk, so she decided to wait for all her other cabin mates to come and decide on there bunks first.โ โ

Karina probably spent an hour wandering outside the entrance doors. Should she go in and spend the day with her friends? Well she already took a long flight all the way to France, not like she was scared of flying, but still she spent a lot of her free time in a plane. She had prepared a chocolate bar for everyone in her cabin. Now, most of the bars had melted in her hands. Kari was worried that the bars would freeze, so she put them in her jacket, but now her jacket was ruined, with stains of dark and light brown.Outfit:Reducio
Kari took a deep breath, and walked in the cabin. A few of the girls were already there. Karina wasn't sure who else was coming, and to be honest, she didn't recognize some of the girls there.
"Hey guys. I'm Karina, for those who don't know me."
Karina's eyes jotted across the room towards a familiar face.
"Oh hi Avery! Nice to see you here! Uhm, do you know maybe who else is coming?"
Once again, facing the others, she smiled nervously. What was happening? Ever since she joined Hogwarts, she had trouble making friends, which was never a problem back home...
Only 2 more days until Valentine's day. And until then, Kari had to get everything ready. And, looks like she was going to have quite the weekend with her friends, or soon-to-be-friends.

Travelling abroad had always been a near impossible dream for Joseph - a distant fantasy that never seemed likely to come to pass, considering his abysmal relationship his family. He wasn't just reluctant to ask for their support, he knew better than to try. In the household, even requesting a toothpick would feel like an offence, let alone daring to propose a trip to another country.
You could only imagine how thrilled he was when his friend, Avery invited him to her cabin in Beauxbatons. Sure, with seven girls, most of whom he didn't even know, but it didn't matter. An opportunity was an opportunity. Nothing could possibly go wrong... right?
"You'll be fine," Joseph muttered reassuringly under his breath, running a hand through his unkempt hair in a feeble attempt to smooth it down. And he would be. He had friends to keep him company, a rare opportunity to explore the majestic halls of Beauxbatons, and most importantly, he still had her. That alone was enough to steady his nerves.
Joseph curved his lips into a soft smile, his eyes gazing down affectionately at his most trusted companion - his adorable pet rock. Astra remained still in his open palm, meeting his stare with unwavering indifference. Of course he had to bring her along. How could he possibly face this adventure without her?
With a steadying breath, Joseph tucked Astra into his empty pocket, turning to face the cabin door. The cabin looked cosy enough from the outside, though it probably paled in comparison to the whatever was waiting for him on the inside. At least, that's what he'd been told, whether it was true or not.
Guess there's only one way to find out... Joseph thought, a lazy grin spreading across his face. Without another thought, he gently nudged the door open.
A gasp of awe escaped Joseph.
It was beautiful, no, beautiful didn't make the cut. It was simply spentafricular.
The moment he stepped inside, he was greeted by the soft pitter-patter of rain, as if a gentle drizzle had settled over the vast woodland the cabin seemed to have magically spawned in. Looking out through the window, he could see towering trees stretching out towards the sky, forming a thick layer of canopy as a layer of fog drifted lazily between their trunks, shifting in and out of focus.
It all felt like a surreal, like a dream... yet so real at the same time.
Letting his gaze wander to the scatter of girls who were already engaging in conversations of some sort, Joseph beamed, offering a brief enthusiastic wave before promptly ambling over to the nearest empty bed. Well, wasn't he going to have a great time.

โ Although Lyanna had traveled to many places in her life, she had never gone to France. Her parents had taken her to Greece, Italy, Spain, South-America, and many other spectacular countries, but France hadn't been one of them. When Isa, Lyanna's little sister, was born, her parents needed to stay in Cambridge to keep earning a good amount of money to take care of both of their daughters. Therefore the places on their check-list of where to go next were never entirely checked off, France being one of the countries with an empty white square beside it.
Now that she was finally going to France, Lyanna was very excited. What could be more fun than going to Beauxbรขtons Academy of Magic for a week, and share a cabin with her friends, after everything that had happened almost two months ago during the Christmas holidays? There would be many fun activities for Valentines day, including new acquaintances, secret letters, games and lots of fun adventures with (new) friends!
As Lyanna walked through the crowd of people to find her cabin, Ember, her lovely pet owl, gave a curious hoot. Grinning, knowing that her little friend loved new adventures, she opened his cage and let him fly freely. Following him with her gaze, she kept walking in the direction of the cabins, finally finding hers. On the outside, the cabin looked remarkably cozy and smelled like the forest, reminding her of the time she went to the redwoods as a little girl.
Lyanna called Ember back down as she opened the cabin door, and before she was able to do anything else he swooped towards her, flying straight into the cabin with a graceful arch.
Smiling, she too entered the little cottage. She hoped Ember wouldn't startle anyone and followed him further into the cabin, stopping countless times to look around. Outside the glass windows, it looked as if there was an actual forest awaiting to be explored, an occasional animal walking by. The inside mirrored this atmosphere and was comfy and woodsy. Lyanna loved it. Looking for the others, she wondered if her friends were already there, but also couldn't wait to make new friends and meet people at Beauxbรขtons.
Just as she asked herself this she heard numerous voices coming from the bedroom, some of them belonging to her friends and a few new ones. Hurrying over, she saw Avery, Eva, Promise, Joseph and two other girls who must be Karina and Claire, relieved that she wasn't the last one to arrive as Kie wasn't there yet.
"Hi guys!" Lyanna said, unable to hide her excitement, "I hope Ember here didn't startle you, he loves new places," she continued with a laugh, "For those who don't know me, I'm Lyanna, but my friends usually call me Lya. I can't wait to have fun together here at Beauxbรขtons!"
And fun she would certainly have. โ

โฝAvery was excited when more people began to walk into the cabin. It was nearly full, but she knew there was someone else missing. She counted the room and only found seven people. Avery didn't mind that the last person was arriving late. The trip was long, and she was probably busy.
Avery smiled and said, "Hi Karina! I know there is one more person coming, but I don't know her name yet."
Then Avery realized that Joseph and Lya had slipped in unnoticed by her. She was shocked that she hadn't even noticed her friends. Then she saw a little owl fly across the room. That's when she remembered that she needed to let Jasper out of his travel cage. She carefully unlatched the door and let the small kitten out into the room.
Jasper, of course, hopped right out of his cage and ran to sniff everyone. He was always curious about new people. When he saw the owl flying he began to watch with excitement. Avery knew not to worry about him attacking the owl since he was too sweet. He wasn't really a hunter anyway. If anything, he would probably be found curled up and asleep next to it later.
Hey Joseph! Hey Lya! How was your trip down here?" Avery asked.
Avery found out the owl's name was Ember and that he belonged to Lya. She was very excited to know that she finally knew someone else with a pet! "That's amazing that you brought Ember! This is Jasper. He'll probably end up asleep next to Ember soon. He was awake the entire journey here!" Avery laughed. Remembering the journey being full of Jasper's meows of protest for being stuck in his cage the entire trip. She knew he would be much happier now that he would be able to stretch his legs out and play with a new friend. โฝ
