Cool Mountains Right? PV Closed

Katherine Liske was a talkative person. She was always scared that she pushed people away with her chatter. In an attempt to be more likable she had started to talk less. She decided after a few failed attempts at this to retire to the grounds. At least the grass doesn't care how much I talk. She thought. The Lake was a very enjoyable place for Katherine anyway. It reminded her of home and smelled like the beach. She sat down on the ground and kicked off her shoes. She ran her feet through the wet grass and breathed deeply as the wind pushed the mist toward the shore. She looked up at the mountains. They looked so inviting. She wished she could ditch the school that reminded her so much of her father to adventure in the endless realm of the mountains. They glowed golden in the late afternoon sun and made her yawn. She thought of her cat. He would have loved to sit here with me. She thought. He liked watching the sunset. The air smelled like oncoming rain and mist. It wasn't cold but she felt a shiver go down her spine. It was more than she could have imagined.
"Why does the Earth have to be so beautiful? Is it your fault?" She demanded of the sky. "It makes me feel so small." She looked down at her grass-covered feet.
"I feel so small," She repeated in a quiet voice.
