Backstory
Born Madisyn Rosner Jones, on February 10, 2012, to Elizabeth and Nathan Jones. As a baby, her parents worried her older brother wouldn't adjust to having a younger sister, but were pleased when her older brother, Chris, spoiled her.
The same held true when Clara, their younger sister, was born. Chris was 8 years older than Madisyn, and 11 years older than Clara.
Madisyn began school at the age of five, skipping Pre- School. The teacher told her parents that Madisyn was too clever for re-School, and that they should move her up to first grade.
In school, Madi made several friends, and had a natural friendliness to her, drawing people to her.
Her parents were very pleased with Madi's academic performance, and often treated her with rewards for good grades.
Madi's father was always at work, leaving her mother, Chris, her and Clara in the house alone to fend for themselves. To Madisyn, her mother seemingly didn't mind staying at home all day, taking care of her children, as that's what mothers should do, take care of their kids.
Her mother and father often had arguments regarding Madisyn, and her academics.
A few years after Madisyn had gotten used to being older than her peers, her father got a job offer. This would usually be good, but the job offer was in Wrotham, England. Across the world.
Madisyn had a fit. She would lose all of her friends, and everything she had known. After all England was so far from California.
How would she ever make new friends? Didn't they speak a whole different language in England?
After her parents talked to her, Madi found out that, no, they didn't actually speak another language in England. They just had a funny accent (which Madisyn and her family would come to inherit.)
She found life in the UK quite fun, but difficult to make friends. She met a few people that were nice, including her best friends, Nick, Chloe, and Sina.
The other girls in her new school however, were not as welcoming. They were your typical American teenage mean girls. Except in England.
Her parents advised her not to worry about them, but it was hard to not worry about people who left rude notes in your locker.
One of the most common notes was "Go back to America. You'd probably have better luck being a model there. Or not. Maybe a nerd!"
Her friends stood up for her quite often, but it got to a point where her parents decide to homeschool her. This wasn't very helpful for her social life, because her parents were basically just hiding from the world.
If they had just stayed in America, this never would have happened. She wouldn't have ever lost her friends in America, she would've never had to make new friends (but she did really appreciate her friends here in England) And she never would've gotten bullied.
First Instance of Magic
At the age of ten, her and her sister had gotten into an argument. She usually got along with her sister, so this really frustrated her. She stormed up into her room, ignoring her parents requests for her to stay downstairs, and slammed her door.
She sat down, letting her anger settle in more, (which turned out to be a bad idea.) As she thought about the situation, she became increasingly angry, and suddenly, thee glass vase on her desk filled with an arrangement of flowers that she had received from her last dance competition, shattered, causing glass to go everywhere.
Madisyn's mother rushed upstairs after hearing the commotion, and barged into Madisyn's room.
Later that night, she heard her mother and father discussing what to do with Madisyn.

Madisyn Jones|1st Year Slytherin
The Jones Family
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 2. As a child, her father got a job offer for the Ministry of Magic, that required the family to move to England. The family decided to settle in the quiet town of Wrotham, surrounded with friendly neighbors.
Elizabeth knew her mother came from a magical descent, so she hoped she would inherit the magic. To her amusement, she did. At 6 years old, Elizabeth had her first instance of magic. Her parents weren't surprised, as they both came from a magical descent, which would mean their daughter would as well.
When she received her letter to Hogwarts, she couldn't be happier. Her parents took her to Diagon Alley, and Elizabeth was in awe. It was beautiful. All the magical things were so amazing.
Her first year in Hogwarts was great, and she made a lot of new friends. Her second year went the same. In her third year, however, she met a boy. Nathan Jones. They became best friends, and after Hogwarts, they got married. Their first child, Chris, was spoiled. And then, when their second child, Madisyn was born, Chris spoiled Madisyn. Clara was their third and last child. Elizabeth loved all of her children, and would do anything for them.
She stayed at home and took care of them most of the time, because her husband was always at work, making sure he could support the family, and that's what he did. Elizabeth was content, and couldn't want anything more.
