Minnie smiled as she sat on a bench, staring out onto the grounds. The morning was bright, if a bit chilly. She had walked to the grounds to think freely and talk to the flowers. It was before breakfast, so almost nobody was outside. That was how she liked it, quiet, and peaceful. If a bit lonely. But she wasn't the type to cry in the bathroom about missing company-even if she was last year. Now she was different, better.

Where had that girl that helped her gone? She hadn't seen her again, not even in the halls. Linda-if she was remembering correctly. She hadn't felt embarrassed or lonely with her. It would be nice to see her again.

Silence was still good. But memories of friends slightly hindered the peaceful part. You couldn't feel at peace when you were lonely. Oh ice mice! I need a friend. She decided. If only she could see that Linda girl again. They seemed to have hit off. Not that she would be up and about before breakfast. Even if it was pretty, it took a lot of effort to get up early and not immediately fall back to sleep. She doubted many people did this. But maybe today was different. Maybe she could find a friend today. Please. She pleaded. Please don't let me stay lonely.

Linda woke up earlier this day. There was no particular reason for it, but she couldn't fall asleep again. Deciding to go out, she put on her white sweatshirt and black trousers with white boots and made her way out of the Gryffindor tower.

The weather seemed to be really nice and Linda didn't regret being out at this time. She was walking around the castle, to the lake when she was passing by the grounds. Someone attracted her attention there. A girl Linda met before. Minnie?

Approaching the girl as quiet as it was possible, Linda smiled softly. What a nice day to meet again, don't you think so? Giving a moment to the girl to react, Linda looked at the sky. The weather is nice today. Are you waiting for someone or are you enjoying the day?

It was good to meet her now before Linda decided to return to the castle. She still was interested in knowing about Minnie more. Maybe even they could be friends? Linda didn't need new friends, but she was always up to new interactions. Even if not all of them were ending up being friends. New faces, new connections. The year was already rather busy and she didn't have much opportunity to see her friends. But it was alright. She wasn't sad.
