It is always a good day when your letters arrive. Yes, your mother did tell us what happened but we don't blame you. Everyone is curious about something.

Fiona is healthy, fine, and still affectionate towards everyone she meets. She has puppies now and next time you visit, you can pick one out if your parents allow you. Do you remember Elias, the neighbor's dog? That is her companion nowadays. They are a perfect, adorable pair.

In response to your question, we'll say this. Find something that interests you strongly and pursue that. Of course, if that interest is something you cannot pursue, try your best to pursue it without breaking rules. We hope that helps.

I remember Elias, always pushing to get Fiona's attention. He must be glad that his work paid off. Which of the puppies is the cutest? My guess is that it's Emmeline although all of the names sound beautiful.

Thank you for the advice. I'll let you know that my strongest interest at the moment is Divination. I can hardly wait for next fall to come around, though my interest may change before then.

I'm having a hard time choosing what sport to join. Quidditch seems fun but so do dueling and broom-racing. Any advice on what I should choose? Hopefully I can make up my mind before next fall because I really want to have something to do.

Divination is indeed a nice subject. It's been so long that we can't remember what electives we took ourselves. We're happy now so it doesn't matter.

Do some research about all three sports and then choose. I, your gram, kept a journal and it appears that I rather liked duelling the best. Your gramps says that, if he was a wizard, he would've chosen duelling as well. He's always positive of the fact that he's not a wizard.

Yes, your parents were both Hufflepuff. When your mother told us about your father, she emphasized that he was in her house. Looking at an old letter, she wrote 'Most importantly of all, Teddy's in my house.' That was her nickname for him.

Well, the puppies are begging for attention. Speaking of which, I almost forgot your question. We have different opinions about who is the beautifulest. Your gramps thinks Frederick but I, your gram, think Louisa. Everyone has their favorite and that's alright.

I hope that this finds you well. Your advice has helped me tremendously in the past weeks. I hope to see you sometime this year. Demetrios sends good wishes to you and the puppies. Based on names, he likes Noah because, 'it's a simple name.'

I shall continue to write occasionally but not with 'importance' as these past letters have been. Demetrios wishes that he may visit you over the summer. Once summer arrives, I suppose mother will arrange a visit with you. If you remember Snowy, she says hello. At the moment, she is sitting in my lap.

My hair has finally gotten rid of all traces of purple. I can hardly believe that my birthday is in about a month. I don't particularly care for birthday presents but if there is anything you wish to send me, I do not mind. My first birthday here was fantastic as my friends prepared a surprise party for me.

Wrapping things up, I must admit that I snuck out to get some blue toys from a garage sale over Christmas break. I'll tell mum in a few days when I figure out the right wording. Dad won't mind, I saw him hiding a smile when I first dyed my hair. Mum always makes a fuss over me whenever I do something without asking.
