First Step
Maya had been so excited, yet nervous too. She had been waiting for this moment for years, counting the days and weeks to start this journey and now it was finally the day! She wanted to jump with joy, and talk about her thoughts and dreams about the journey ahead. Even during the shopping for the Hogwarts school in Diagon Alley she was already feeling excited. She wanted to look at the books she bought and learn what she would learn soon this year already. Her wand journey at Ollivander's was as good as expected, and finally getting her want and seeing her magic inside her through it made her happy and proud, and now her next step was on the Hogwarts Express.
She was busy in daydreaming mode, unconsciously holding her wand tightly in her right hand and unaware of what her family was talking about. Her whole family was here, her parents and her older sister (who already graduated the previous year).
Little Maya got distracted from her dreaming mode when she felt her sister tapping her on the shoulder. "Hey listen to me, are you excited? Her sister, Amy, said to her with a smile on her face. Maya smiled big "of course i am!"
They talked a bit about what to expect and how to get into platform they needed to go.
When they arrived to the wall that'd make them enter the platform, Maya felt her happiness grow. She turned around to her mother and they hugged each other goodbye as her mom wouldn't be enter into the wall to the other side, she almost felt like crying.
"Alright" her dad started, after they all waved her mom goodbye. "Do you wanna go first or should I and your sister go now?" Maya looked at the wall again and shrugged, but she took her first step and started walking towards it before them. Her dad laughed and they both walked behind her.
As Maya stepped toward she felt all her surroundings change, and here she saw, the Hogwarts Express!
