Kaylee Quick-First Year-Hufflepuff

Pre-Hogwarts story:
Kaylee Quick was born a half blood, her farther the muggle and her mother being a pure blood witch, whom which sadly killed whilst duelling another wizard. Herself and her younger brother never really knew much about magic or wizardry until they met their grandmother, (mother’s side).
One summer whilst staying at there grandparents they over heard there grandparents and farther taking about Hogwarts and how Kaylee would have to start learning about the history of magic before she starts Hogwarts. This is when thing started to get weird, kaylee accidentally turn her brother invisible whilst they were arguing. She set fire to her bedroom whilst she was dreaming. This is when her farther finally had enough and sent her to live with her grandmother to get her magic under control.
Personality:
Kaylee is a quiet and shy once you first get to know her, but after while she a bubbly ball of energy. She will do anything for her closest friends, but betray her once and she will cut ties, she has time for fake friends. She can have a big personality depending on who she’s around, the more comfortable she is the more she come out here shell. She quite smart and hardworking, constantly trying to expand her knowledge, if she ain’t with her friends she will have her head in a book.
Kaylee is quiet mature for her age, her gran recon this is because of losing her mum at such a young age she had to step up, she always loved looking after her younger brother and her dad. She has the perfect amount of maturity, silliness and intelligence

Kaylee Quick-First Year-Hufflepuff
I was so nervous going into the great hall to find out what house I was going to be in, initially I wanted to be in Gryffindor, but once I got up there and the hat was placed in my head I didn’t care as long as it wasn’t Slytherin, I was happy. The moment the hat called ‘Hufflepuff’ I was relieved and disappointed at the same time
Initially, as a Hufflepuff, I just felt wronged and out of place but then I decided to do some research into my house and was pleasantly surprised at what I found. Newt Scamander are Hufflepuffs along with Cedric Diggory (may he rest in peace), Nymphadora Tonks and surprisingly Dwayne Johnson. It was Newt that made me feel proud to belong to such a great house. After reading The Fantastic Beasts and seeing what a loving and loyal character Newt was, I was so happy to realise that I belong to the same house as he. I love to help people, and am fiercely loyal to those who I call my friends, even to strangers honestly and it made me realize that I am and should be proud to call myself a Hufflepuff. I also think that Hufflepuffs are very intelligent and see the world from a different point of view. Often times, I am told that my solutions to problems are so unique yet brilliant and I feel like that is a trait unique to Hufflepuffs. We see the world differently but in the most amazing way.
