Sakura woke up with a start that morning determined to go study her homework from her classes the previous day. Was it the weekend, yes it was. Wouldn’t most students be hanging out with their friends instead of studying? Yes they would. Was Sakura one of them? No, she was absolutely not. This fact is probably why she doesn’t have very many interactions. Or friends for that matter. Her nose is always stuck in a book.

She hoisted her bag onto her shoulder as she left the Slytherin common room and made her way to one of the many staircases throughout Hogwarts. Specifically the one leading to the corridors to the study room. Today she had decided to wear something a bit more comfortable, a simple pair of jeans with a t-shirt and some sneakers.

As she ascended, lost in thoughts of Lavendula potions and transfiguration techniques, her mind raced with excitement and curiosity. She imagined herself gracefully walking the castle halls, her peers impressed by her knowledge, a bubbling well of confidence. But in her daydreams of newfound friendships and illustrious House rivalries, she let her guard down.

A careless tug on her shoelace betrayed her inattention. As feet rushed forward but the lace stayed resolute—unyielding—the world spun rapidly. Sakura’s heart raced as she stumbled, a reflexive grab at the nearest bannister only coming up with air. The weight of her backpack seemed suddenly heavy, an anchor pulling her back as she lost her footing.

With a few thuds, Sakura tumbled down the staircase back into the corridor. A sharp pain flared in her ankle. She lifted up her pants leg to see her ankle bright red and already bruised and in the process of swelling up to almost twice the size.

Oliver had lots of plans for that day, lots and lots of plans. Ok- well. That was a lie, he didn't have many people he wanted to make plans with. Most people annoyed him beyond belief, and really he would much rather study then do anything. That may have been a lie to, painting wouldn't be to bad. If the weather would have allowed it he would relax outside with his cat. Weird as it may be, Otis loved the snow. Oliver did not. So that was indeed out of the question. Of course instead he would study. Studying had become something he came to enjoy.

He'd spent just a bit of time in the study hall, but found it to not be to his liking today. That and he had stupidly forgotten one of his books that he needed for his herbology homework. He was fairly sure in his answers, near positive that he had them right. Some people called it 'extra' and 'not needed' for him to double (s0metimes triple) cheek his work when he thought he had the right answers; to that he always responded 'I need the perfect grades.' So yes, he did think it to be necessary to leave his place of study, to take a walk to the library, find his perfect seat, drop his stuff down, just to get one book, to make sure he got the best grade possible.

Just his cursed luck, things had to go wrong. Something in his way. Falling down the stairs. Why did everyone in this school just have to fall in front of him? It was really starting to piss him off quite a bit. He opened his mouth to scold her, as he had done with the other's that had dared to fall in his presence. When he himself had seen just how swollen the mystery faller's ankle had gotten.

Yikes.

He probably stood there for to long, it had felt like forever before he did something, in reality just a few stunned seconds. "The hell?!" He finally managed to say out loud, walking over to her crouching down next to her looking at the injury. Yes, this girl looked to be hurt. "You should really try to watch your step."He did still school her, he had to. Clumsy people had become an everyday annoyance to him. Oliver looked at it, face not one of really compassion, but perhaps disgust? It looked not super good. He was not a stranger to falling down stairs himself, so call him a hypocrite, but his tumble had been saved from embarrassment by bouncing down with his first instance of magic.

She had nothing going for her. He looked around the halls, starkly empty. Then back at her. "That looks- not great." Pointing out the obvious, very helpful Armani. He let out a hum, trying to think of what to do. He was mean, but not heartless. This girl needed help, and he would be named a monster if he didn't help her. He also had no real good reason to hate her, yet. Things could easily change. He didn't know any healing spells, if he did he didn't trust his spell casting enough to actually cast any. He figured the best bet was to somehow get her to one of the professors, or a higher year that could cast a spell. "Think you can walk to the hospital wing?" He asked looked up to her eyes. He didn't think so, but it didn't hurt to ask.
