The cold was a relentless thing. It swirled in icy gusts that seemed to find their way under Noah's collar, down his sleeves, and wash across his body. Had he not been kitted out in his warm robe, there was no way he would risk venturing out alone. Noah stood there for a moment, his breath clouding in the air, before his eyes flickered to the untouched snow that stretched out before him. He had an idea.

With a silly little grin, Noah knelt down and pushed together some pieces of snow into a tiny ball. Slowly, he rolled the ball across the snow, feeling it grow heavier and bigger with each pass. The snow stuck together in clumps. Soon, the first snowball looked large enough to be the base. Noah paused for a moment, catching his breath, before continuing on. He would give life to Mr. Snowman. His nose was red like the reindeer, and every breath felt as if it was a war against the cold, but he pushed forwards. Until the second ball was finally complete. Struggling, he lifted it up and plopped it on top of the first ball which served as a base.

Noah stepped back, pride sparkling in his eyes. Until a chill ran down his spine. "It can't be..." The second snowball on the structure that had just looked so sound was now beginning to wobble. A few grains of snow slid free, but Noah assumed it was his mind playing tricks on him. It was, after all, pretty cold. However, the wobble grew more and more intense and before he could react, the ball crumbled off of its base. With a sickening crunch the snowman collapsed.

"Aww man." Noah moaned dejected, kicking the desolate snow beneath his feet in despair. Mr. Snowman had died before he could ever even have a chance to live. If only somebody could give him a helping hand and save Mr. Snowman from his frozen death...
