Cirrus shivered as he was hit with a gust of fresh air, the weathered window creating a soft creak as it opened. Cirrus quickly caught himself on the ledge of the sill, catching a glimpse of the ground four stories below where he stood. He let out a relieved breath holding his heart that was beating out of his chest, that was a close one. Cirrus wasn't the strongest so it had taken all his strength and some of his weight to open the window, which had also almost caused what could have been a fatal accident. Unless history repeated itself from when he was smaller, his first instance of magic to be more exact, he had jumped from the top of a roof and was left completely unscathed. But it also could have ended worse than the very accident that had left him with a scar that had remained til this day. He subconsciously brought his hand to his mouth to touch the small mark, he then turned away from the window instead of sitting next to it. Cirrus looked up, at a chandelier that seemed to crystalize elegantly into a gentle sharp point, the whole ceiling seemed to arch to this one point. It was as if the chandelier dripping with jewels of light was the core purpose of this room's existence. The filtering morning light from the window Cirrus had opened perfectly hit the centerpiece, making it something to the likeness of angels. The rays bounced off the ambers and diamonds, scattering the light across the room like dancing rabbits. Cirrus smiled at this other-worldly beauty as he dragged his backpack so that it was now resting in front of him. He dug around his backpack pulling out a large stack of beautifully ornate patterned origami paper. Cirrus gently blew it, and a small puff of dust dissipated into the November air. He folded the paper slowly with care, craftily bending and creasing it, manipulating it until he completed its final form. Cirrus held the small creation in his hands the sun perfectly highlighting the gold leaves on the teal surface. A paper crane, one of the thousand he was set to make. He was on his third one when he heard a small tap like a finch lightly pecking at glass. The break in the silence caused Cirrus to slowly look up to see what could have existed in this space with him. The figure was still and upright, if it wasn't for the fluttering blink of her large Sacramento eyes Cirrus would have mistaken her for a life-size doll. She seemed to glow unnaturally, a way that many would not know was possible. Her skin was a little too pale, looking much like porcelain, her hair a light gold falling in small waves around her face. Cirrus just gave a small smile before politely gesturing for her to join him.
