The morning at the Vasilios Manor on the cliffs of St. Ives had been relatively calm for such an important day. Eulalia had packed a week before the day of her departure and in turn, she'd been able to spend majority of her morning saying farewell to the coast and beaches below her home. She'd visited her tidepool caves, and spent a long while just standing in the water, letting the calm waves lap against her ankles and calves.

After spending some time at the ocean, Eulalia made her way back to the Manor, preparing herself for her journey to Platform 9¾, a trip that she'd been dying to take herself since the days when she dropped off her brother at the Scarlet Red train. After dressing in her clothes, accessorizing, and ensuring her seashell hairpin was secured in her hair (a gift from her grandmother). Making her way downstairs, Eulalia grabbed her trunk and her mothers arm before the family apparated to the Platform.

Once at the platform, her Eirini and Theodoros Vasilios led their youngest daughter to an open corner, her older brother Nikolaos, meeting the family there.

"Now Eulalia," her father began "We expect only the best from you. The Vasilios family name carries weight, and now, it is your duty to uphold it." Theodoros said, his steely eyes boring into his daughter's. "You will do well to know your place and bring pride to our name."

She nodded, looking down in slight discomfort at all of the expectations. "Yes Father."

"Eulalia," the girl's eyes shifted to her mother. "Remember who you are. You are a Vasilios. Steadfast as the tide, boundless as the sea. Do well in your studies and bring the family honor and pride." She spoke, her voice soft, yet strict.

Eulalia nodded again. She knew the delicate and intricate Vasilios family history. The proud and successful witches and wizards of their bloodline. She was raised with the belief thay tradition is important, but protecting the family name and bringing it pride, was even more so.

Eulalia desired to tell her mother her true ambitions. Her desires. How she wasn't all like her perfect, golden bother Niko. But Eulalia kept her mouth shut and nodded, wrapping her arms around her mother as Eirini embraced her silently. Pulling away, Theodoros kissed his daughter's forehead briefly.

"We love you Eulalia. We expect excellence." Her mother said once again.

"I love you too." Eulalia said quietly before being brought into an embrace by her older brother, Niko.

"Keep yourself in control Lali. Remember our motto, remember who you are. Don't let anyone see your doubt." Niko whispered to his littler sister in the hug, quiet enough so their parents couldn't hear. "And most importantly, Lali, don't mess up."

Eulalia nodded subtly, swallowing the lump in her throat and pushing down the weight and pressure put on her shoulders. With that, she unwrapped herself from Niko and grabber her trunk, making her way to the train.

Approacing the train, Eulalia looked back towards her family. Not to her surprise, they were gone. Swallowing the lump in her throat again, Eulalua boarded the train and found an empty compartment, setting her stuff down and taking a seat. Eulalia stared out the window, closing her eyes for a moment. Her brothers words reverberated in her head.

"Don't mess up."
