All aboard!
Erin stared out the window and the sloped green hills that raced past her, her heart pounding with a mix of nerves and excitement, and her thoughts and feelings torn between longing for her family left so far behind, and anticipation as she imagined her life at Hogwarts. Her, a witch? Imagine that!

As a Muggleborn, Erin had only read about magic in the books her parents insisted were “just stories.” Now, the impossible felt vividly real. She twiddled her wand between her fingers, marvelling and the smoothness and sureness of the wood. Her very own magic wand.

She settled into her seat, the gentle rhythm of the train's wheels soothing her initial nerves. Outside, the rolling hills, and fields stretched endlessly under a clear blue sky, so clear she couldn’t help but smile. Every detail of this journey felt like a wonderful secret, and one that she was privy to.

As the train wound its way deeper into the countryside, Erin felt her nerves dissolve, Hogwarts awaited, a land of hope and dreams, and Erin grinned to herself as she tucked her feet underneath her, cracking open Hogwarts a History, and delving into the world of magic, ghosts, spinning stairs, and forgotten chambers.

Her journey now was only missing one thing, a friend to share it with.

All aboard!
Waving his mother goodbye, Claudius climbed onboard the train waiting to take him to this big adventure that Hogwarts is supposed to be. A sigh escapes him as he thinks about what is going to await him. It is not as if he isn't excited about it but he has never left home for a long period of time, and he already missed the quite hills and forest surrounding his families estate.
As he wanders through the corridors of the Hogwarts Express searching for a suitable compartment the train suddenly started to move, no going back now.
Most of the compartments where full since they did arrive rather late on the platform. Claudius wanted to wait as long as possible in the hope that his father might make it home in time to accompany him and his mother to London, but sadly that was not the case.

Finally giving up on finding any empty compartments he began searching for almost empty ones instead. Maybe he could find one with someone asleep in it, but alas luck was not on his side.
He knocks on the door of a compartment with a girl inside that appeared to be reading a book, before entering.
"Excuse me, is this seat still free?"
