The day before winter break started, Tracey packed up her things worth two weeks and was ready to return home for the holidays. After breakfast, Tracey grabbed her suitcase and Tiger's case and left the castle with all the other students who will be returning home to their families. Tracey had sent an owl the night before to her parents telling them that she'll be coming home.
Last year, Tracey had stayed at Hogwarts during winter and spring break, because she wanted to explore the castle, but for the holidays, this year, she wanted to spend the holidays with her family.
Aboarding the Hogwarts Express, Tracey scanned the train for any empty compartments. When she found one, she entered it and set Tiger's cage at the top rack above her seat after allowing him to jump onto the seat and lay down beside her.
Tracey was excited to return home for the holidays and open presents with her family. Though she enjoyed staying at Hogwarts last year, she wanted to stay at Hogwarts one year and the next, stay with her family.
During the ride to Kings Cross Station, Tracey drew in her drawing book. She drew the sleeping Tiger and drew the scenery around her by looking out the window. She usually doesn't draw, but whenever she does, Tracey is amazed by how good it looks.
When the train stopped, Tracey put her art supplies away and grabbed Tiger's cage and once he was inside, she closed the cage and left the train. After grabbing her suitcase, Tracey scanned the area for her parents before she ran over to them and hugged them.
"Mom! Dad! I missed you both!" Tracey says as she hugged them.
"We missed you too, honey," Stephen says.
"When we get home, tell us all about Hogwarts," Nancy says.
"Alright, mom. But didn't I already send you guys owls?" Tracey asks letting go of her parents.
"You did, but I want to hear all about it in person," Nancy says.
"Alright," Tracey says.
Tracey followed her parents out of the station and towards the car. Tracey couldn't wait to tell her parents all about everything that happened at Hogwarts even though she had already told them about mostly everything that happened so far this year via owl.
