Her life pre-Hogwarts was a simple one. Her mother is a muggle and her father is a wizard. Her parents met at York Castle Museum. Her Father broke the news he was a Wizard just a day before their marriage at their small home in York. At first she thought it was a silly joke, until he pulled out his wand and levitated a item into the air. Her mother that day almost called off the marriage until her Father did a big kiss spontaneously and spoke of being his soul mate. Her parents are still together this day.

She was born in York, England and moved to Painswick, England when she was five years old. She has one eighteen year old Sister who is a witch and currently backpacking the world. Her mother got a teaching job at Croft Primary School and her Father took up a position as a Librarian position close to home. Her general muggle education was mostly from her Mom being home schooled. Her Father would talk of the Wizarding world but strangely her Father found most comfort adapting to the muggle ways. Willow has a general sense of the Wizarding world a bit from her Sister too before she went back packing across the world.

First Instance of Magic: Her magical first surfaced when she was six years old. She was being chased by a feral dog. When the dog had her cornered, she screamed "go away" with her eyes closed and her ears covered, in a tone of fear. When she realized nothing was happening to her, still in feeling in fear, she noticed the dog wasn't around. She was out with her mother at the time. Willow was puzzled and look around for several moments before her mom caught up with her and check her over.
