Hello Adam,
As you might know, Christmas is on the 25th, as is my son's birthday, Clark. Because of some unforeseen occasion with Ernest's friends showing up shortly before Christmas, I could not plan or prepare dinner at my house this year on the 25th. No matter when they left, because that is irrelevant, I was busy regardless that day. I apologized profusely to Clark, but the little gremlin would continue to be a butt.

Because of how busy I was on that day, I decided I would ask you, or at least extend an invite to you and your children, to join us on the 28th of December. If you don't mind, that is. You're free to bring whatever you would like, but I have plans for the meals.

Furthermore, I would like to let you know that while I'm aware of how reckless my children are, please know that they are still children just as your two troublesome boys are children. Don't avoid us because of Clark.
