I see you noticed my slip up with Theo earlier. Your lack of response has shown me that. I understand that you're a smart girl, and you could use your skills for something other than troublemaking. You spend your spells and sneaking ability on going into the forbidden forest and the owlery at night. I can help you achieve so much more. I have a mystery for you, a hidden secret of sorts. I can't talk about it in a letter, as those are so easy to compromise. I know by having done some myself. To be blunt, I need your help. I can't investigate this secret without your help. So I offer a trade. Meet me in the forbidden forest after dinner, at 6:45. I know you can sneak. I'll tell you what you want, and you can help me. Sound fair? If you think so, meet me on the eighth. If you don't come, I'll have to take some...measures if you know what I mean.

How do I know if I can trust you? I'll show, but I won't show my face. I don't trust empty words without a face to show. I enjoy my life right now, and unless your secret is really good, this is the last time we'll see each other. I don't put up with weirdos, and I have plenty of people who can enlighten my life in a better way. Besides, I like troublemaking. Here's my deal, as I like to be fair. I'll come tomorrow, and if you can convince me to believe you're trustworthy, I'll do your odd secret quest thing. I doubt you will, but even though you will probably not gain my trust, I won't tell anyone about you. My way of being fair. This will most likely be the last time I ever write to you.
