Closed Large group -change - First Years Meeting pv

Yolanda entered the Rehearsal Room early to get ready for her First Years Club. She wanted them to all gather together at once – but quickly realized First Years weren’t great for being on exact time. They were showing up early, late; it was very sporadic the timing.

Okay new plan.

Yolanda decided she’d introduce herself and give each student a mini intro.

“It’s nice to have you! I’ve put you in groups and you each have a table to meet at and introduce yourselves! Speaking of introductions I’m Yolanda Yates – First Year – Ravenclaw.” Yolanda had put Name Cards at each table so they could find their spot easier. She guided them to the tables to find their names for their group.

On each table was a Note as well that read:

-Hi! Start by introducing yourself in your groups and what Hogwarts House you are in. Then, tell a story that connects to a House Trait:
Gryffindor: A brave or daring moment.
Hufflepuff: A time you showed loyalty or kindness.
Ravenclaw: A clever or creative idea you’ve had.
Slytherin: A resourceful or ambitious goal you’ve set.
Finally share with the group what you love most about being in your House!-

Yolanda hoped they would love their first Ice-Breaker at the First Years very first meeting!

Yolanda took the cards away and set up the room for one large table. She kept the sign but decided to tell them all to join one big group - maybe that would be more fun!
