Weird beans
Felix Rodriguez look up to a beautiful older woman in front of him, Mrs. Rodriguez cupping his face and place a soft kiss on his forehead. He felt his eyes warming with tears. "You've grown so much, Felix. Make sure you get out of trouble alright?" Her voice echoed through his ears like a melody, he give her a curt nod. "Yes mother."
After the short farewell, he made his way inside the train with his big brown trunk. "Good heavens, this big trunk." He mutter under his breath as he walk through the narrow way, looking for an empty cabin. Eventually, he settled himself in an empty cabin. 'Ah, just nice.' he said to himself.
He can hear faint laughter and chatters from the other cabins, he sigh softly. It's not that bad, at least he has his own peace for awhile. He jolted back to reality when an older woman's voice greet him. "Anything from the trolley, dear?" the woman said. Felix's eyes shine bright as he saw all those sweets from the trolley. He nod happily. He walk closer to the trolley, "Can i have two chocolate frog and.." he paused, looking around the trolley before his eyes landed on a small box of beans. He gasp. "Is that a bean?!", he ask the woman, enthusiastically.
"Yes dear. Here you go." The woman then hand him the boxes of chocolate frogs and also beans. "Thank you!" Felix immediately hand the woman some coins before taking the sweets from the woman and head back to his cabin with an excitement.
Felix put the boxes of chocolate frog aside before he open the small box of beans. His brows furrowed as he sniffed the smell inside of the box.
"My goodness, it smells like old socks!" He said to himself as he look around the box for any information on the beans inside.
He hesitantly take one of the coloured bean inside the box, he took the brown colour one and sniff it slowly. That bean doesn't have smell. He shrugged it off before he eat the bean, the taste of it is not that bad but it's foreign to his tongue. When he took another bean, he doesn't sniff it and straight away eat the bean. He regretted his action. It taste like sock.
"All i really want is to be loved. I'm
having such a hard time without it."
