Brookline slowly walked back into the castle. It was dark, and not where Brookline wanted so desperately to be at all. But she had too. She couldn’t just leave her Ravenclaw friend, @Andy Loggins all by himself by the Great Lake with his pain, and his thoughts and..

Climbing the magic (and sometimes annoying), steps, Brookline thought, as she continued to put one step in front of the other. She was vaguely surprised that was able to just that. Was she numb? What was happening? She knew she had kept her cool, but now she wasn’t sure how she could compete with this heavy numbing feeling over her small shoulders, her brunette head, her pumping heart, her quick fingers, her soulless soul, her uneasy stomach. How was she controlling herself? Merlin, how would it be until Brookline asked the universe, why?

When was this was to be over? When would she know how to heal from her very own wand? Why did she want to even do this? How far would the young Ravenclaw even get? What would happen to her social and friend life? These half-baked questions ran through Brookline’s head, and she just had to ask herself: What would happen to my father and I?

The lingering question stayed. Coming back to little Brookline every so often. How would ever explain this fear? When would she ever be able to explain this fear and get answers? How would she even get answers? Would anyone understand all this pressure? Her father, her mother, her anger, her friends, Andy, these bloody healing books, this strange urge; none of these options wouldn’t understand, or at least that is what Brookline thought. How would they, The Ravenclaw asked herself, when even I don’t understand a single thing?!

In her stupor, Brookline realized that she had made to the third floor. How was just a matter of the fact that Brookline wasn’t watching where she was going and was just plain lucky. She saw the Hospital Wing, and stumbled towards it. She wondered if anyone would even be inside the Wing when it was this point in the night. The pure-blood girl peeked her small head full of curly brunette hair inside, breathing quietly and slowly.

“Hello?” Brookline called inside, hoping someone would be in there. Instead of calling inside a empty void. Very carefully, the Ravenclaw crept in, one foot in front of the other. Her Jeans brushed the other side of her leg, making this kind of a weird sound: sssishh, sishhh, sisshh.

Freezing densely, she took one step further when she saw a figure in the dark Hospital Wing. Brookline thought the figure was a assistant. She called out again, asking for a bandage or two. The assistant obliged a second later, with a pair of bandages. Brookline took them gratefully and thanked the assistant.

She then hurried out of the Hospital Wing, ready to leave the darkness, and run out to the moon’s sliver light. If Brookline could hug the moon, she could. Instead she shall bask in the moonlight. Once she exited the school, she sprinted to the Great Lake as if it was a tense race or battle.
