Dear Margaux

September 12, 2022
Dear Margaux,
I hope you're fine and you work well. I'm proud of you. Gryffindor is a good house, and Thomas was very happy there. I just want you have friends, it's important. You'll be with other students during seven years. It's better if you have friends. Acceptable, of course, it goes without saying.
Your father doesn't reply you, he's busy. Work is difficult, these days.
Thomas is with your great-grandparents. His training is intense, but he's strong, of course. He's a Troyller, like you. I'm sure you'll have the best grades. It's in our blood. Especially you. Women aren't put forward in our environment. But I know you can go beyond all that. You're strong, Margaux. Never forget.
I’m passing you a message from Jake. He’s still at your aunt Maeva’s and doesn’t have access to an owl. He tells you to contact him if there is any problem and make friends. He also gives you lots of tips for your classes, but as he didn't write them down I forgot about them. You can ask her for them during the Christmas holidays, because we'll go to Green Manor. Thomas will be with us, of course, and your father’s parents. Edwin won’t be able to travel.
I wish you every success in your studies and an exemplary discipline. Don't disappoint your father, you are the last Troyller in Hogwarts for now, we count on you to leave a good image of our family to the teachers.
Love from,
Clotilde, your mother
