Ginyami wandered about the Hogwarts greenhouse, curious as to the plants that received care there. It was nowhere near as expansive or impressive as Mahoutokoro's gardens, but there were a few interesting, exotic, and rare specimens here and there. As a member of his own school's gardening club and as someone whose family business involved caring for plants both magical and non-magical, Ginyami had a great deal more knowledge regarding Herbology than any other subject taught at his school. It was for that reason he wondered how Hogwarts' Herbology classes compared to Mahoutokoro's, especially when nature and respecting it was such a large part of Japanese culture.

Being around greenery, quiet, and life did him good after all the fire, death, destruction, and screams from less than a week before. The terrorist attack at Hogsmeade was still seared into Ginyami's memories; Sara's tortured cry most of all. He often still woke in cold sweats at night from nightmares involving the sound and the emotions he associated with it. He could only imagine how the others like Sara and Miharu were faring. Though he'd already discussed it with Sara, he had yet to do so with Miharu, who he guessed probably needed more time. Especially since she, though unintentionally, had been the cause of Sara's screams.

They hadn't been the only ones suffering either, he knew. Not too long ago, Ginyami had heard that a business partner and Hogwarts student, EmmaLee LeDames, had lost someone very close to her. Apparently it had been someone who had attended the business trip with her to Japan - the one where Ginyami and EmmaLee had first met. Though the Mahoutokoro student hadn't met the young man himself, he could only imagine what it must have been like for her to lose someone so close to her. He himself had so few people close to him, but to have lost any of them would have been devastating. He'd had far too close to a taste of that for his liking during the attack on the foreign students a few days prior.

Shaking his head, Ginyami tried to clear his thoughts and return them to the care of the plant life before him. There was little reason to dwell on the past and he would have preferred not to get lost in his own head when he was alone.
