Welcome to our site! We're glad to see that you're keen to engage with our systems and get stuck into the Wizarding World at large. I'm also glad to see you in Slytherin, as my student account is in Slytherin and I have personal experience in being in the same position as you when I was first starting out on site.

Firstly, you will want to get indexed. This is the process in which your character and their story and abilities gets approved. This involves the creation of an encyclopaedia page which has details about your character for others to see. A trunk post is also needed for your character, as this details Crux's abilities, spells etc.

To gain spells, you need to complete classes. To be able to get access to classes, you need to wait 10 days and have 20 independent posts (which are not spam, and not double-posts). Once you have access to classes, passing them allows you to add the spell to your trunk through our index system. And you need two spells in your trunk before you sign up to the duelling club waitlist found in the Slytherin Common Room forum!
