The woman, Celeste, was too focused on what she was doing and didn't pay any attention to her daughter. As Crux walked by, Celeste accidentally dropped a potion on the girl, who was startled, but magically the bottle simply flew away, she didn't think it was that strange. However, the bottle was open and some liquid fell on her, but only on part of her hair, which mysteriously turned white and caused the liquid to dry instantly. Fortunately, nothing bad actually happened. Crux just discovered that he had a body with a lot of magical defense.
