An Idea?
Currently there is not a very big story/plot, I was just pondering the possibility of official (not mandatory for participation, you can choose to simulate life as a Hogwarts student normally too) big, dramatic events every year (or across a few years) such as another dark lord, (wizard) world crisis, large dangers, Triwizard Tournament, etc.

We had a Hexwizard tournament (triwizard tournament with a lot more schools) a couple of years ago and never managed to finish it. The sad truth is that these events rely on people staying active and when they don't, which is sadly the usual case, it is hard to finish things properly.
We also had a main plotline for a long time but there were also many difficulties with that, varying from trying to give everyone a chance to participate (note that we are several 100 active people, this would be a huge thing to moderate) to people being very new to roleplay and not knowing good roleplay manners yet.
If you have a specific, detailed idea, maybe you can write that down and suggest it? We have a suggestions thread here
