History: I’m a pure-blood, so magic feels kind of natural to me, but I still don’t know much
about it. My dad often practices spells or makes potions when I’m around. It is
definitely not new, yet I still don’t quite understand it. When I was just a baby, my
mum was tragically killed by another wizard, which left me alone with my dad. From
that experience I learned to deeply value people around me and moments spent with
them since I know nobody is here forever. While watching my dad do any kind of
magic, I developed a natural curiosity for learning magic and understanding it better,
so one day I can be as good as he is.

When I first encountered magic, it was definitely not intentional. I was just 7 years
old and that hat day I was very angry about something, I don’t even remember what it
was about, but I was frustrated. I was outside in our garden thinking about what to do
now. When I couldn’t find any good conclusion, I got so angry that I picked up a
random stick lying on the ground and out of frustration I threw it to the ground with
all my strengh. To my surprise, it didn’t somehow feel like a normal stick throw;
instead, I sensed some kind of strange energy in my body. I didn’t understand what
was happening at all. So I stood there for some time thinking about what had just
happened only to realize that the stick I had thrown was actually on fire. For me, as a
natural explorer, it was exciting, but at the same time I was scared of what I had just
done. On coincidence, at that moment my dad decided to look out the window and
saw everything. I watched him come out of our house quickly, but not running. I
didn't know how he would react, so I looked at him, confused and seeking for answers,
scared that he would be angry about this. Luckily, he was surprised but very calm
about the situation. It was as if he knew this would happen one day, just not so soon.
He explained to me what had just occurred and said that once I got older, I would have
these situations under my control, which really helped me not to be scared of myself.
At that moment, I realized that I had some magic within me, and I was even more
eager to learn more about it.
