@Dogweed and Deathcap | MENTIONINGThe sun had yet to leave the horizon, instead streaking the sky with beautiful yellows, orange, and a tinge of pink. Cirrus could feel his stomach begin to knot, or at least ever since he got his acceptance letter. At first it was incontrollable excitement, but as the days went by the actual reality hit him... like an uppercut. He was going to be the very first wizard in his family, so he had no one familiar or anybody that could relate with his struggle. As well as he would be separated from his family for months at a time as he received his education, it was daunting to say the least. Cirrus was extremely close to his family as well with everyone in the area he lived in. Cirrus was often nicknamed as Argyle Street's lap dog or errand boy, as he constantly ran between houses helping his neighbors. When he wasn't lending a helping hand, he was busy with his own responsibilities aka homework and chores. In the eyes of many he was considered quite mature for his age and the perfect golden boy. Although the parent's were quite good with time management they were also a very scatter-brained family, often forgetting things within the same minutes. Before they knew it almost 5 weeks had past, since getting the original letter from Hogwarts. Now it was two days till his departure to Hogwarts, yes, they were last minute shopping. Cirrus and his mom had run around all day asking passersby and employees where to find all the things required on the list, it was definitely an amazing trip, but also a draining one. The duo had finally gotten every item on the list, Cirrus felt a wave of satisfaction as he checked off the last item. He and his mother wandered around after the fact, when a certain store caught Cirrus's eye. Dogweed and Deathcap. The two entered the store and were immediately met with a variety of different scents, it was just like the gardening section at a warehouse but more.... magical. The air felt fresh and clean unlike the air outside the shop, which was stagnant and humid. There was plants that he recognized well and plants he never knew existed. Out of all the stores he had gone to this one struck him the most, he was invested, and this was his new motivation for learning magic.coded by charisse
